- At Shot Show 2023 we came upon Recover Tactical, an Israeli company that specializes in modernizing and tacticalizing older weapons such as the 1911 and Berette 92F. What really caught my eye was their revolutionary P-IX, a PDW conversion which operates significantly different from all the competitors.

Unfortunately these are dead on arrival with brace ban…unless it’s over turned…
It is not offered as brace nor has it ever been offered as a brace for the past year that it has been on the market. Sales have been solid with many P-IX AR Platforms sold in the stock configuration.
Without a stock and the front grip, it's just an oversized pistol. With the front grip, you run a bit of risk.

You may not be aware but we are still within the grace period where the ATF is letting you SBR your pistol for free. So perhaps consider filing a Form 1, they you can slap on an actual stock worry free.
