I think that is more likely what is called "emergent gameplay mechanics". They code the game mechanics a certain way to get the behavior that they want (or suppress bugs somewhere else in the engine), and in the right time and place, you get unexpected effects.

Playing with noobs? I play MCC on PC, and literally everyone on there is a pro with gernade spamming and shooting. It's very difficult to get past an overkill.

AR starts make it so you aren’t a god damn apex predator as soon as you spawn. Controlling weapon spawns is as important as shooting sometimes.
