Nice reaction! The way Billie's feet are on the stool and here hand on her thigh gives the impression of total relaxation - I've heard her sing this many, many times; at the Grammys in 2020 there is even less air on the high note - I wished she would hit them with more energy and she has in some concerts - it varies, when she doesn't, when the high note is almost totally aspirated it still doesn't seem like its reallly a mistake - or if her voice isn't totally there, she can use her breath to fill in the space so it sounds like it may very well be what she intended! But - and I think she's great - I often think, even Billie would say she would prefer to hit the high note with a little more forcefulness or voice. Finneas wrote this song - I wonder how he would sing it; I think it would be nice.

Let’s not forget that this interview was most likely in the morning as well. I believe Howard starts his show at like 6 or 7am and I believe he signs off at like 1030 or 11am.
