This machine was put together with spare hardware from various other older projects and is majorly overkill for her needs, but hey, at least I have a machine that I can use for background video rendering (if she lets me).

Really masterful water cooling setup! I'm really beginner on water cooling and trying to figure out my first water cooling setup, so doing research at the same.
I think at this point the "wifey PC" is just a pretext to play around with hardline watercooling :P

What is the fan lighting effect at 1:20?
I have some LL120 fans and I generally use the Pong or Arc lighting effects.
How did you fill in the Liquid and isn't the Pump too high? It's not the highest point, but there is only the distroplate on top.

So the two vertical runs in the front of the case are supply and return from the triple rad but what are the other two vertical runs just behind them for? They go from top all the way into the shrouded compartment. Hidden reservoir?
There is actually no reservoir in the system. In the bottom there is two drain ports connected together with connected together with quick disconnect fittings. Since there is no reservoir in the system, the way it was filled was by putting each end of the quick disconnects (with another quick disconnect fitting attached) into a bowl of coolant, and let the system be filled that way.

How do you allow for thermal expansion? What about bubbles, surely they'll collect in the top distro plate?
Thermal expansion of what? And since there is flow in the system, the bubbles collects in the reservoir. Although on this build there is no reservoir as it was filled via an external pump/res combo that was then disconnected via QD fittings.
What were you thinking, 18 cores will never be enough to play the Sims smoothly 🤣🤪

Jeg kender ikke den præcise pris, men nok omkring de 40.000 (kun for hardware, ikke indregnet custom dele). distro blokken har jeg selv lavet, så den er helt custom.

There might be another pump. Because at 0:23 the water flows without the upper pump touching it.
