I agree with the person below, I can't figure out how to finish and end each round from this video - different things are done at the end and beginning of each round between the setup and subsequent rounds, so it doesn't work for me!
Directions are WRONG! You neglect to mention the need to wrap when starting a knit row. After that last BURP at the end of the row the yarn needs to be wrapped so it’s in the knit position.
This stitch is perfect for hats!! See the written instructions to reference alongside this tutorial here → bit.ly/2GaGlGB
Thank you SO much, usually tutorials go too fast and just tell you what to do and not why, and this stitch is so hard to learn ❤
You have made this so easy!! 🥰 I've been knitting for years and even done a brioche hat or two but this was a breeze! Thank you so much 🥰
Yes!! You’re so welcome! I’m so happy you think so! It’s such a wonderful stitch 😊
Thank you for posting this! I just started knitting last year and this has quickly become my favorite stitch! It was so easy once I got it down.
I kept on unravelling because I was so confused with a hat pattern I got, but this helped so much. Thank you!!!

another name for this stitch is fisherman's rib or English rib.
Why don’t you say what size needle?
You can really use whatever size needle and yarn you would like.

perhaps this is the change mentioned, from working flat back and forth, to working in the round
