I still have it as my main phone today, though it is the LG G8s variant since the standard G8 never came to Europe (LG mobile always had the bad habit of shooting themselves on the foot each year). I will switch to a new phone next year but i am still going to keep this one as a secondary phone.
Hey, if you add the LG G8 phone names to the title, you might get more views. LG still has a cult following,! This is an awesome video, you're a criminally underrated creator.
I really enjoyed my G8 but sold it since LG shut down. The closest phone I've for similar is my current Google Pixel 8. Same size but minus the flush camera. Nice follow up.
My V60's, V30's are timeless devices. Just like my 2003 red Ford SVT Ford F 150 Lightning still dailies for me 11 5 2024. Edited to include Lightning. Yes 2003 Lightning.
Typing this on an LG G8 that I just ended up dusting off and checking out. Comparing this to the newer flagships... I'm shocked on how much hasn't changed. The processer is still MORE than adequate for everyday processes. The camera quality is STILL great even when compared to today's devices which have a megapixel count we never need or utilize. This STILL has all of the features that were taken off devices so these companies can sell you additional 'solutions.'. Battery life is still fine, if you need more, perhaps you have to reevaluate how much of this finite life you spend on a screen. All this to say, I have one statement: How much of this newer tech is just a waste of money? Buying new shit just to feel like we're getting something new? We are heading in the wrong direction.
Omg how did you survive?!?. May as well be caveman times!/s. As I strap on my sweet analog watch, grab my LGV30 my mom still pays for and LGV60 with dual screen. I'm going to vote for the red team.
I main this phone, currently I'm trying to look into upgrade to the v60 since I want to experience the best LG had to offer before exiting the market. Is it worth that upgrade, or should I look at the Sony phones instead since they have all the features looks SD card support, HP jack?

@@Missquerade thanks you for that! I definitely will
Nice video. I have always liked my lg phones. This is a nice one, next to the lg 60. I really like the color. Good job
Which is better for you, G8 or V50?
The LG V60: the only phone you need to watch the volume, the neighbors will be able to hear it.
