The Walking Dead ist eine US-amerikanische Zombie-Horror-Serie, die auf der gleichnamigen Comic-Reihe aus der Feder von Robert Kirkman basiert. Die Handlung ist in einer Welt nach der Zombie-Apokalypse angesiedelt. Jetzt gilt es für eine Gruppe von Menschen, um ihr Überleben zu kämpfen. I love how some people keep complaining how bad the show has become, and still watching it.
So? I haven't thought it was good since season 4 but I still care about some of the characters, so I'll keep watching until it stops entertaining me at all. Doesn't mean I can't complain about the writting and such.

Tron_128, that scene is following a one on one fight Rick has with Negan. Negan snaps Rick's leg, which is why the cane is in the shot as well.
Maybe there is a "new world scenario', which Rick wakes up in. They defeated every single opponent, they survived, they can now keep waking up calmly in the world the built by their own.
Or he was actually in coma xd

I think the ending is a new beginning because where it says The Walking Dead Looks clean and white. Before this the logo got more decayed so I think it was a new start from after the war.

If that turns out to be true I be laughing so hard. However I believe they kind of spoiled this a little at the end. In the comics rick wins but keeps Negan alive. Several years go by and a new threat comes. I wont get into it but I feel the mid season finale is when the war with Negan is over and everyone is at peace. The final part of season 8 will probably tackle on that new threat

I believe this is neither Rick waking up from the Coma nor the time skip, I believe that in the middle of the war Negan hits him with his Truck, Rick passes out and start having a dream that he is Hershel

For those confused about the end of the trailer. To clarify rick is not dreaming. Robert Kirkman has already said that rick is not in a dream. If the show is staying true to the comics then rick is hospitalised because at the end of the war, ricks leg is broken by negan. And the next part of the comic series takes place almost a year after the end of the war. This explains the long white hair

This is one of my favorite TWD trailers ever. I know season 8 gets a lot of hate, but it was a great season. It was balls to the wall action in every episode.

The walking dead trailers are all from the first half of seasons. So if the last scene with rick was about the 3 year time jump. then all out war is only the lenght of the first 8 episodes. then the second half is beyond that

Like read the old comments of this video, this is the most watched trailer because they thought the show was ending and that time was gonna go forward where they’re all alive and older and finally found their permanent home and such, and people even thought this was him waking from the coma and showing it was all fake. They didn’t realize it was Carls vision of the future and such.

Umar Jadoon I love Shiva too, even tho the animal in the show isn't even a real thing (Shiva is a real gem of 2016/2017 top-notch kickass CGI), Shiva is cool. Not because you don't normally get to see a tiger in the show like this, but because she has a character. A tamed tiger, acting like a big cat, is truly amazing. It happened in the comics, it sure as hell might happen in the series. Glenn died by Negan's bat, in both cases. That one came true.
Nah man, as a comic fan this was the shittiest trailer with the shittiest season with the shittiest character development and what's worse is that this was my favorite arc of the comics. They really screwed it up.

I think it would be best to do the two year time for the mid season premiere, and then introduce the whisperers at the end of season 8 with the heads on the spikes. It is all out war after all, it would be no good if they decide to drag the war out over sixteen episodes.

aka Pikachu, I do not think they could or should stretch it for sixteen episodes without adding new material to the war, which is something they shouldn't do. Even though it isn't particularly my favorite story arc, all out war is the most memorable. There's going to be no in between this season, it's either going to be great or the execs are going to drag it through the mud. Personally I feel all out war parts one and two should be divided among four consecutive episodes for each part(first half of season eight) Then the next seven should be about the world after the time jump. Then the season finale needs to end with a bang with Ezekiel's head on the spike. Either way, I highly feel they should end all out war with the mid season finale or mid season premiere

The ending is for comics fans. Negan screws ricks knee up and he has to use a cane to walk. Also there is a 2 year time skip from when he busts his knee that's why he is cleaned up.

His leg actually heals but not to hundred percent and he walks with a stick for the rest of the comic
But in the comic he also lost his hand to the governor, and that never happened
VGExtra it's still possibility though as you can clearly the focus on that stick (4:44)and Rick is old too...
And from season 7 they started to adapt from the comic like glenn's death..
