- While on the pursuit of a child abduction, McNally and Swarek find a singer caught up in the cross-fire. Andy believes she saves her in the knick of time, but it turns out, even when you've done all that you can, it's sometimes not enough.
From Season 2 Episode 10 "Best Laid Plans": Andy saves a woman who is pinned in her car while the rest of the 15 Division investigates a kidnapping case. Swarek tells Andy that he has decided to go back to Guns & Gangs, while Andy calls him to says she is ready to take their relationship.

@@whiteribbonman1 I have noticed a lot of negative comments towards the show because they are police officers. Even here the commentators are trying to push the "cops are bad " narrative with their posts.

The femoral exists in both legs. But your point is legit. Andy did point out that there was a femoral fracture, although no bone seemed to be exposed. So, you have an open fracture site which would be expected in a crash like that. According to the training Ive received over the years, Andy made the correct choice. Life over limb. Sadly, the patient died either en route to trauma cener, or during surgery, so please dont bash the medics.
