- Jerry's wedding speech is read out at the Penny, and it's all too much for Sam who is struggling to come to terms with his best friend's tragic death. Andy follows him outside where he admits that he cannot be a good cop while they're still together, leaving Andy devastated.
From Season 3 Episode 10 "Cold Comforts": While the 15 Division struggles to come to terms with Jerry's death, they must get back to work and protect the streets. Jerry's laptop has been stolen from Traci's car which contains sensitive police information and puts several undercover informants in danger. This case drives a wedge between Andy and Sam, who once again struggle with working together and having a relationship.

He didn’t end it because he blamed her for the death. He ended it because he realized how much it would kill him to lose her like that. He knew that being a cop as well as dating her would be impossible with the constant fear that he could lose her the same way.
I still cannot believe she takes him back after he put Jerry's death on her like that.

I don't normally watch anything twice, but this series..... time and time again... I want to say so much more but that will be "spoilers" for those who haven't seen the series... and I know its from 2010-2015 but it never gets old :)

Read the comments before watching and I was ready to hate the dude but he really didn’t blame her. He admitted he took his anger out on her and that he was sorry for it. I especially don’t think he broke up with her because he blamed her. I’m assuming he’s just afraid to lose someone else he cares about.

I'm watching RB late, I am seeing these cops getting shot, blown and stabbed up and next episode they are back as normal. Even Price was nearly stabbed to death in her neck, then she is back without one scar on her neck, but they killed off Jerry? Out of all the cast the only one killed off. Jerry and Traci's relationship was the best. Worse death ever!

Well andy convinced sam that it wasnt the taxi driver it was the other guy at the bar that was the kidnapper. When they went to the guy at the bar, jerry went alone to the taxi guy. Unfortunately the taxi guy was the culprit and he stabbed jerry. Sam thinks that he shouldnt have listened to mcnallys judgement and gone to see the taxi driver. If it wasnt for mcnally perhaps he would have thought that it was the taxi driver and gone with jerry and jerry wouldnt have died. In this vid he says he cant be a cop and have mcnally in his head. He needs to be a cop without mcnallys judgement clouding his. I hope that makes sense ☺️
