It looks good, proportions are kind of funny, like the the smaller ones. Color combinations are great.
Yeah that's one of the things with FMS rigs, like the FCX24 K5, sometimes the scale isn't quite right. Still a great looking rig though. I love the stock suspension movement. 👍😎

For 399.99!!! Wow, i remember this Blazer as a kid in the 1980's. It's awesome they added the bed lid and roll bars. I see some saying it's "short" Yeah, it's the Chevy Blazer, not the Chevy pickup. Lastly, the performance is the biggest aspect of this truck that surprised me, he made those obstacles and lines look easy.
Crazy cheap for what it is isn't it. I was really surprised by the out the box performance, even the tyres are decent. I really like the transmitter too, so nice to use. 👍
Exactly! Proportions look perfect for a Chevy blazer. My dad had one with a lift and 35's. My wife surprised me with a black Fcx10 2 weeks ago. Hands down best bang for buck. We have several crawlers and this is one of my favorites.

I am just getting into Cars having flown fixed wing and Heli's and this looks to be pretty capable at a good price point. I have had fms fixed wing aircraft and provided you don't fly battery packs back to back reliability seemed good. It was only when pushing them hard that the electrics failed. Usually the ESC. Servos were a bit weak as well. I would imagine they use better components in that truck.
I think only time will tell for durability. Buy out the box it seems decent. 👍
I agree, the stock tires are really good. Also, for the value and performance, this thing out perform all others.
For the money it's crazy isn't it. Obviously only time will tell on durability, but so far so good.
The tyres are definitely the best tyres Injora have done to date. Same goes for the tyres on the FCX18 K10, their best so far. 👍
I'm not convinced. Lot's more things to go wrong and I bet there's not much after market support available. Buy cheap buy twice. Having said that its nice to see someone pushing the envelope.🤔🤔
Yet, already Traxxas is behind for 1/18… let’s see in two year from now… there is already good, affordable option for 1/10…
I get what you're saying, but people probably said the same when the trx4 came out. With how popular FMS is, it won't be long before loads of parts are available. Only time will tell how durable it is though.
For the money though and what you get it's a bargain imo. Just need to sort that slipper clutch so I can rip up the mud in second gear! 🤣😁

Must say I’m rather envious as would love to have one and that colour matches my FCX24 version.
Like you I’m not normally a fan of all the manual diff options and normally run everything locked and only like dig, but get on FMS for including so many options out of the box 👍🏻
Magnetic lights is a great feature as the wires are always a pain.
I think seeing your review my only disappointment is the body not being a hard body, other than that what an awesome machine 👍🏻

I’ve now seen two UK reviews.
My question is how are you getting them as no one in the UK is listing them yet and I’ve tried to order direct from FMS but they don’t ship any 1/10 models overseas 🤷♂️
So guess that by the time they eventually arrive in the UK the introductory models with the free accessories won’t exist anymore 😩

@@DoURC So far I've only seen a few videos of the car. I wanted to order it myself from FMS, but they don't deliver to Germany! 🤬 Then I ordered the car from a German dealer where it appeared to be in stock and after ordering I received a message that the car was currently not available. Looks like the release of the car in Germany isn't until April. 😤
Maybe FMS is just unlucky if I see another car... 🤪 I already have a TRX4 Cheyenne HIgh Trail. 😍

I hear you there on the indicators, imo it ruins any scale realism, like who indicates every time they turn?! Most people don't indicate when they need too! 🤣🤣🤣

Prolly need to snip the wires and live without them.....
You can unplug the two wires on the bottom part of the unit that the light wiring plugs into and you can plug one into the slot that says "DRL" (day running lights) and the other into the slot that says "BRK-LT" (brake light). The turn signals won't work after that, and the lighting on the car will be a little more realistic, in my opinion.

I was thinking about it, but my trx4 is massively modified so not sure it would be a fair comparison tbh, unless Traxxas want to send me one...but I doubt it! 🤣😬

Just ordered mine, however I realized it doesn’t come with batteries. What batteries should I get for my truck and transmitter that will last long?
They recommend running it on a 2s lipo, but it can take a 3s lipo. I run mine on an Overlander Sport Track 5000mah 3S lipo.
On a decent 5000mah lipo you'll get a good couple of hours runtime easy.
For the transmitter, just some decent AA batteries. 👍

This does look a fab piece of kit and a competitive price, even over here! (about 500€ delivered) Strong resemblance to the TRX4, but some of the extra functionality is great! And it is certainly very capable straight out of the box. I just don't like those oversized wheels - I'd have to try and get hold of a set of the latest wheels fitted to the RC4WD Chevy hardbody, which I reckon would look a whole lot nicer. 😄
Yeah, I think anything with these features is going to be similar to the TRX4, but I think it's great for us the consumer other brands making pushing the big boys. Hopefully this is the start of something good from FMS. 👍

Great video. I was expecting FMS to fix the scale issues with the wheel wells, but, they didn't. The fenders look ugly being so wide.

I think the tail light bulbs are in the wrong holes because the backup lights flash when turning and the tail lights come on in reverse it seems. Sumthins` weird!
Possibly, I'm sure it said in the manual about tail lights, but then I was reading it at like 2am in the morning! 🤣🤦

Times have changed.When traxxas came out the trx4 with remote locking diffs people wanted simplicity.
I think it's cool to have all the features if people want them. Personally I just run my diffs locked as I mud so much, but the dig function is cool. 👍

Mixed messages on this tbh, they talk about it as splash proof, but I believe that's because the light module is only ppx4, whereas the all in one esc is ppx7(iirc). The manual states both the esc and light module are waterproof but I guess they're covering themselves saying it's splashproof, unless they've changed it already on the website, I haven't looked. 🤷♂️

Modelsport sell it in the UK, otherwise just search for FCX10 and see where you want to buy it from. I'm sure places like Euro RC etc sell it too. 👍
@@DoURC I bought a lot from UK in the apst but now since they left European Union im afraid i have to pay customs or some other tax. I asked FMS they dont send 1/10 cars to Portugal, EuroRC doesnt have the one i found its 489€...

Has FTX paid Chevrolet thier liscencing fee? My understanding is they have not for the Ken Block foundation while using the Hoonigan logo. I do hope this is just internet crap. However if not, shame on you.

I don't mind the body tbh, but I'm not a massive chevy fan, so the little details that everyone is picking up on doesn't really bother me. I think value for money, features and performance it's brilliant. 👍
@@DoURC Don't get me wrong the actual workings are awesome. They just need a better body. I am not a Chev fan of course so I just wouldn't want it because I don't want a replica of a truck that I don't like.

Think it's the motor, it sounds a little different, my FJ40 was similar 👍
