I’ve been buying Ohora since the beginning of quarantine. I love them!!! Btw. With the first buy you’ll get the lamp for free. Only if you create a profile, they’ll send you a code so you can get the lamp for free
I have these. They're pretty dope, but I've found that they do do the hair snag thing earlier than actual painted gel polish. But, the designs are beautiful. The stickers are short though, can't use them if your nails are too long. They were a breeze to put on because they're repositionable and stretchable. They're the best nail decals I've ever tried. I've even tried the ones you have to heat up. Most decals don't even last 24 hours on me because my nails are pretty curved. They always end up lifting on the sides. These didn't do that. They're about the price of a manicure but you can get at least 2 uses out of each box.
@@LibbyAudrey I'm still using a lamp I bought on Amazon for $23 over five years ago. Might buy a new one soon though, I like the ones with LED and at least a 30 and 60 second timer. LED lamps last longer wiithout having to replace bulbs and they cure gel polish faster.
I've been wearing mine for a week (balck background with glittery flowers); I put first the Ohora strips, then gel foundation, and topped with a gel top coat. I have a regular LED/UV light, and cure for 60 seconds between coats. I've had no issues with peeling, popping up, hair getting caught, etc. I love them!!!
The gemstone nail is ready to be put on, you don’t need to put two of them. The clear ones are just in case you want to keep one clear which is very common in Korean Nail Art ☺️
I was wondering about this, I love these nails but I’ve never used any with the gems yet. The directions state that we should put a protective gel down beforehand, do we use the double stickers or do we just use the gel sticker alone. I wish there were a clear tutorial from the brand. I definitely don’t want to use it incorrectly
I"ve been using these for a couple of months now and i don't think i will ever go back to doing my polish the old fashion way, i am obsessed they look SO GOOD and last at LEAST a week n a half if not more ; o ; so excited to see u try it too tina!
Thank you for the great tips! I bought these last week and they are arriving Thursday. Cant wait!!! Shipping was free over $80 and the lamp is free right now. So fun!!!
videos this year are great!! love the topics lately. Just what i was looking for. I have seen these on ads and was scared to buy them. now i know they are good. lol thanks, Tina ^^
This Korean Gel Nail Kit looks like a better option than stick-on nails. However I think the red jewel would look better on top of the red nail polish instead on a naked nail. I think if the nail polish goes matte, applying a top coat would make it shine again. Thank you for continuing to produce content for us, making this year less horrible. :)
I bought a lot of Ohora nail strips but if they are not on sale, they are pricey especially the ones with designs on them or gems. What I do now is put the gel nail strips on ( you can just use the simple colored ones) and then embellish them with my own gems & art. Of course you need gel glue to do this & the gel top coat after and you can decorate your nail however you want. It works out very well and when the nail starts growing out, you can pop them off a lot simpler than if you had applied gel polish as the color.
I love nails too and im so obsessed with them, i have baby nails so ive always wanted to try them on forvever but hadn't had the chance to, nail school is rly expensive here and so as the nail kit and gel so im trying to save up for them! So watching u doing nails is my fav thing ever
some people like to stretch the sticker before they put it on the nail. also cure you need to cure your nails twice! these are great for more natural glam nails :)
I've been wondering about these. Been doing my nails with the Kiara Sky Gelly tips kit and love those but also use gel on my natural nails when their naturally longer.
I never have the patience to do my nails or do nail art that’s why I go to nail salons to get my gel nails done but, this one seems easy and looks pretty and professionally done. 😍
I love watching your nail videos and have always been interested in gel nails, but I’m worried about the UV light for my skin (skin cancer). Have you done any research on that? Is there danger in doing gel nails with UV over time?
Karen L There have been only a few studies on this. It’s really depending on the strength of the UV lights, long time exposure (meaning how long the lights are left on during a salon visit) and even genetics and skin tone plays a part. Some people can simply get skin or nail cancers from working in the sunlight! Like everything it’s a risk you take. Same as chemicals from hair dyes etc.
If you're interested in doing things like gel polish/polygel, there are plenty of brands that use LED lamps instead of UV, so you can find plenty of products that wouldn't require the use of a UV lamp. LED lamps emit a more specific wavelength of UV that cures the products faster, so it also reduces the time that your hands have to spend in the lamp! There are also gloves with cutouts for your nails to protect your hands from excess light :))
The dashing diva strips are made in Korea too. I've been wearing those for the last few months and I love them. I recently received an Ohara order, going to try them today.
This looks awesome! It would be cool if you tried to DIY some of your own like this to see if it's possible to do. Then that would open up a whole load more of designs ❤❤❤❤
I didn't do a gem one but I did a layer look where I used the solid color on the bottom and a clear jewel one on top then I cured for like 3 mins. And it worked that way. Maybe try it with the gem.
Eh if they did that after an alcohol wipe what would happen with hand sanitizer. I love dashing diva and put a layer of clear gel on top. They look amazing.
Nail polish only lasts me a few days, once they chip I take it all off (I hate chipped nails). First time using ohora and it lasted me about 2 weeks until I got bored of them. But if I left them on I think it would’ve lasted another week or two. Love ohora!
Hi Tina I am Korean subscriber! When you attach it, cut it roughly before use UV laser, and trimming nails When it became harder! That would be more comfortable to use it🙂
Wow only 37 minutes such a long time that im early and in india its 12pm and I love your tina tries it 👍🤗 hope in future I can get some🤗🙂 lots of love you tina from india 🇮🇳
You should give Marmalade Nails a try. They are like second nails. They have tons of designs. You can actually test them on your nails for a day, three days, or a few weeks depends on how much glue used. On top is a number for future nails. There is rewards so you can work towards free nails. I’ve gotten many before. Also they sell their nails for a cause. They remove them with hot water. I’d love to see how you like them. In between lessons of course.
Like this video if you do your own nails 👍🏻
Omg i am so early 💕💕
Yes I do!!!
I wish I could, because of you, I did try it but I am just soo bad😭.
Yes I do my nails myself hehe
mostly with regular home supplies :)
and I love growing my nails tooo
Can I like it if I don't?

yes! when I went on their site, that was the first thing I saw. they have the steps right on there!
Thx Melissa! If I go on there I'll know what to do. I can use this when I get older, (if I want to buy this) 💕
Do you still buy from them? Is it just me or is everything sold out or they stopped selling internationally 😅
@@jamielaw4749 it’s been like two months or so since I last purchased from them. I don’t know any updates.
@@melisarivera4473 I haven't bought from them before so that's good to know. Thanks!
Ok I am obsessed with the combination of this eye look and the blonde hair!
And her lipstick too. It looks so good 😊

If you order from vanity table, the lamp comes free with first order. Also putting a gel top coat has helped me with snagging.
My nails are suuuper curved, and no stickers ever work. Thank you for mentioning that!

@@Scorpiyo360 I just did the gel nail and it’s fine 🤷🏻♀️
No. The clear sticker is suppose to go under the gem sticker.
Clear one goes down the gem one, that's the intent. Gem ones don't stay very long otherwise. All non gem kits don't have clear extras in the cases.
