Capcom’s day 1 intro of the Tokyo Game Show 2020 started with a short introduction to Resident Evil Village and the release of a special developer video that showcased what seemed to be nothing much. However, after digging a little deeper we found 8 things that stood out about the latest iteration of Resident Evil.

This game was confirmed long ago to be the most open world RE in the series.
Giving back more control to the player sounds like a good idea.

Guys, Is it possible that the elderly woman is Evelines mother or grandmother? I mean, you remember what eveline looked like when she transformed? That elderly woman’s face resembles that same look quite a lot. Not to mention, the giant flying creature is more than likely that same elderly woman’s transformation.

The only thing i like in this game was chris 3d model he looks like the previous chris 3d model just an older version not the chris from resident evil 7 who looks nothing like the chris from the franchise

This game just looks fun, that's why I'm hyped for it. It looks like the developers took inspiration from Transylvania horror and being a horror movie fanatic I am excited! Plus this looks like RE4 on steroids which bring back nostalgia. Now if they just give us a release date 😫
That’s why I’m stoked for it, and to be honest, replaying RE7 reminds me of just how outdated and repetitive the “zombie” outbreak has become in the remakes and original trilogy. RE7 was a masterpiece so I am definitely looking forward to Village.

They announced that they are going to try to release on PS4 and Xbox One alongside the next-gen versions. It sounds like they can't guarantee it will release on the same day, they will probably come later.

Chris works for the bsaa in re8 but we thought Chris works for blue umbrella in re7 and played as chris in the not a hero.

@@karimkj01 RE7 has "somewhat" mutiple endings, albeit more alternative endings as it has established canon story/continuity.

Some gamers can't upgrade to the PS5 OR Xbox Series X. Not sure why that was left out. Not everyone even wants a Playstation.

He is in the game but not the RE4 merchant. If you watched the second trailer for RE8 he has some dialogue at the end of the trailer.

Kind of wish they would drop first person. To me I always found games like Resident Evil and Dead space were great as 3rd person horror games. The only horror game I loved that was first person was F.E.A.R . Plus for horror games I always feel more involved if that makes any sense . To each their own I guess

I've noticed in Japan they are very gracious in their culture and they are always talking about delivering a game for the people and saying things like "we hope you will try it" all the time. So it isn't new at Capcom, they did similar things for past games which is why I think it is just a different place. I'd be like "My game rocks, if you don't play it you are a moron" lol.

I feel like they did the re7 chris on purpose, the chris in re8 is jacked like the BSSA, rough looking and is older. Maybe its Chris's son and he joined umbrella to change it or maybe not. Again im a huge fan of the FPS RE which brings me back to the old feeling of what a RE should feel like.
