Carefull when heating Za'atar , it can turn bitter. A companion video on pitcher drinks would ideal for this one (Agua Frescas, cucumber water substitutes , Sangreas, horchata, etc..)
@@bubblewinx8116 za'atar is just a wild thyme. so mix thyme, a little bit of sesame seeds, + sumac (if you also don't have sumac, sub in lemon zest) the spice mix is mostly like 70% the wild thyme. so don't mix it equal parts. (I would use dried thyme and not fresh, but I don't know)
can confirm that those za'tar fire crackers are some of the most addicting crackers i've ever had. ate a few...couldn't stop thinking about them since!!!!
Hello! I'm thinking of making these at my family gathering this year; did you eat them straight out of the oven? Do you think they could be made the night before so long as they aren't sealed in an air-tight container? I appreciate any insight you can give, having made them! C:
@@Lanecryo i personally ate them a little warm because i had no self control. i also ate another one a few hours later after it was in a bowl, still delicious! the recipe on the site says it can be made up to 5 days in advance.
I’ve returned a year later as these have been on my mind to make since this was posted! Can we please PLEASE have more of Kendra’s elevated snack videos ❤
I'm a big fan of super simple but tasty cooking. Most "snacks" I see are way too involved but these recipes! So easy! Keen to try some of these tonight.
Yep, her story at the beginning had little o do with the proposed solution. I'm sure these crackers are nice, but they are no "oh no, my guests arrive in an hour, what to do for snacks?" answer...
I learned a new word: joodge. I love it. I think Russian letter ж is the sounds I'm looking for on the front there, like the end "ge" of garage, but I don't know how to write it in English.
I actually noticed it looks a lot like 2 that I just bought at Walmart lol! They're the Better Homes & Garden Abbott Stoneware dinner bowl. Hope it helps! 😊
"all of these snacks -- not all at once, but one by one -- can be done in 15 minutes or less" "Each." The word you're looking for is "each." "Each of these snacks can be done in 15 minutes or less." Hope this helps
very well curated recipes and idk you can tell she knows what she’s talking about 👏 if these were her recipes i would be most impressed but even if they werent you can tell these were personally made over and over again until they was just right 😇👏 lovely✨
They don't need snacks. The osso buco just needs to braise for a few more hours.
BABE
Should we do a house tour while we wait?
Thank you my friend! I'm thinking the same, this is Jan in real life! She really said 2-2.5 hours...
...Um, my landlord just called.
😂
She visibly exudes passion for cooking and involving good food in daily life, I really like her vibe.
You really like her face. We all do.
This should absolutely be a series.
Never thought I'd enjoy someone as much as Brad.
Brad is funnier but they share an ability to connect with the viewer over love of food
Is Brad in this video?? I wish they had him on more
Thanks
Bring back It's Alive! That was stuff that brought me to this channel. Everything else lately is eye candy, which is nice, but not why I'm here.
Totally agree! I love Brad so much and I think I loved this video equally - I didn’t think it could be done 🙂
Plus I want her dress!
I love these fresh snack up snacks! A great alternative to the mayo/sour cream/cream cheese dips that have been around forever.
Hey dear 💗💗
how are you doing ??

Wats the alternative if za'atar isnt available?
@@bubblewinx8116 if you want something herby you could do like parsley and thyme with lemon or parm. Or pesto...

She’s great on camera, a natural. Fun snacks too.
I love her! Please more snacks!
the biggest snack is right there.....kendra
I love watching her. So natural. I was cracking up at the Kalamata olive- "have you heard of vinegar 💥 "
I’m gonna try that saltine recipe with franks red hot powder and make franks red hot firecrackers!
I LOVED this video! She is the Queen of snacks so this made perfect sense to me. Loved to see everyone dig in with their drink of choice❤

Kendra: you can do these in less than 15 minutes
Also Kendra: refrigerate for 10 to 12 hours
They were made in less than 15 minutes? They just taste better overnight.
15 minutes of Kendra?? More of these, please!!!
I want all of these simple, elevated snacks! Saving this video for my next party.

Love these ideas. But if your chicken, lasagna or whatever is already in the oven, what do you use? Or does everyone have more than one oven?
Great question 😂
Raise your hand if this lady needs her own show!
Obsessed with peppadews! Always keep some in my fridge for a little cheese plate
Yum yum town
Last snack with mouthful fancy name is the one I'll try first. Looks 😋 yummy.

She is awesome ...love her voice ....sooo great
I will never not eat my chips with old bay and lemon aioli ever again! Such an amazing and quick snack mod 🤩
Not just a party, but so many of these dishes would be a great quick lunch
I feel so related with girl who combined all the snacks cuz I would totally do the same 🤣
I loved the ending of this where everyone is partying together! I'd do the same as Inés and mix everything together in different texture combos hahaha
New game: drink every time a BA presenter says the word "zhuzh"
Where is Kendra’s show? I think the world would watch that!
Just tried the chips and omg!! Game changer! Thank you so much for sharing
Quick 15 min snacks, proceeds to marinate crackers for 8-12hours

i made the zaatar crackers and now they're my go to whenever i have friends over
It’s wonderful- when is her cooking show coming?
More of Kendra ❤❤❤
I like the background sound of the test kitchen ❤❤❤❤
Why wouldn't you zest and toss with parsley on the sheet pan so it's more evenly distributed in the chips (not just the top few chips)?
Aesthetic
Then what would you comment about?
Totally wonderful ideas. Thank you so much!
Great demo. I will be trying all these recipes. Thank you.
More of chef Kendra, please.
Hey beautiful 💗💗
how are you doing ??
@@Amosgreyy1down bad lol
These look awesome and easy. I love your enthusiasm and also your top.

These all look amazing!
Kendra is awesome.
Absolutely amazing!
Those saltine crackers look amazing
She’s a natural for BO! Hope to see more featured videos! Everything looked bomb! Who knew, salami and walnuts?
0:50 everyone in the background is like... guess this chick didn't realize they actually make old Bay potatoe chips lol
But any day homemade is better cos it is less processed. It has less preservatives and not chemically tasting.
kendra is life
Any info on that last serving bowl? It looks like it belongs to the same collection as our dishes and would love to know more about it!
I actually noticed it looks a lot like 2 that I just bought at Walmart lol! They're the Better Homes & Garden Abbott Stoneware dinner bowl. Hope it helps! 😊
those zaatar firecrackers ohmigosh lol i'm gonna add my own special "spice blend"
the kalamata impression 💀
Wow that food looks decent!
I love this channel so much
We don't have saltine crackers in the UK, not sure what substitute I could use but very interested in trying that recipe.
Maybe matzo crackers? Saltines are basically flour and water with salt.
These are such fun, easy recipes for a crowd! Thanks, Kendra and BA team :)
Well that was fun! ♡ can't wait to try a couple myself.
the pecan dish...AMAZING
If you live in Maryland you just buy old bay potato chips I think
Correct
Snacks needs to be a series please!
I can tell by the way she speaks about food that she’s got some fire recipes hidden up her sleeve. Let’s see what else she can do!

Boujie appetizers for a boujie dinner party.
While I'm loving what you're doing here.... I need to know where you got the dress. Thank youuuuuu
These are awesome!
Should these be served cold?
What temperature???
Jaybu! Who adds more salt on chips???
Kendra 😍😍😍
Need to get that allicin working in that garlic. Ask Brad, he's got a theory about it.
Cool episode, firecracker recipe tinkered to take into account time limit would make more sense tho
What great dishes! I may make a few of these to bring to the holiday party 😊
Too much trouble for me. I would have stopped @ just opening the packets! 😂
I would be that girl who put it all together in one delicious snack, for sure
Never thought I'd enjoy someone as much as Brad.
Lovely snacks 😋
Love Kendra!
Nice 👍 job n presentation. Great stuff is always coming out of ba! Thnx again and Happy Holidays to all there, ❄️☃️🎄💯🗽🇺🇸.
Hahaha I love how she adds some lemon juice and calls the Mayo aioli😂
She also added garlic beforehand
Kendra ❤❤❤
I get embarrassingly excited about fresh mozzarella
That’s ok!
Very interesting snacks! Love the way she presents it all as well.
This is great! I would actually make these.
