Hello, I recently saw some review questions that asked things like "at least how many individuals should be sampled to get a 90 percent confidence interval with a width of at least 0.08?" and "at a 5 percent level of significance, in a sample size of 100, what proportion of successes would be enough to reject the null hypothesis?" (btw, for this previous question, should we assume that p=0.5?) I was just wondering how to use the invNorm function in a calculator to do the problems above (because these would realistically only appear on the MCQ portion). Thank you!
yes in the first question assume p-hat is 0.50. I am actually making a video soon about these questions. When it is ready I will send it to you in this thread.
