It was episode 6 for me on The Rings of Power. Couldn't watch anymore after that. I don't think I'd be missing anything by skipping the show.
As of the House of Dragons, I was also skeptical when they announced the show due to the quality of Game of Thrones in its final two seasons left an unpleasant flavor. But it was good, season 1 as a whole. Although I'd agree that the pacing is a bit too quick.
I didn't watch ROP's 1st season and still don't have any interest at all. As for HOTD, I thought that trying to adapt a hundred odd pages of very biased, in the it was written, history into a relatable TV show would be very hard to accomplish, yet HOTD did indeed surprise me. Yeah, the "padding" out of the characters was rushed and really S1's time jumps without even just a narrator filling in what had been happening was a bit jarring. So yes, I am really looking forward to the 2nd season.

I was not crazy about Rings of Power and have no interest in House of the Dragon. I love GoT but I did not like Targaryens and hated the dragons, more so because they gave us too much of them to the detriment of the end of the series.
Maybe I will look into the rest of Rings of Power when I get to see DVDs.
How I miss GoT.So hard to believe it's been 5 years, but god, those last 2 years especially were awful.
The only good part of the end was Danerys' death.

This is gonna be a brutal mismatch all over again. House of The Dragon gonna conquer all over again. Hopefully rings of cringe season 2 will be received even worst than season 1 was & its fate finally sealed!
I feel Amazon has put too much time, effort and money in this show not to see it through. I’m sure the reviews will be spectacular at first and just like with season 1, after a while that will all change.
@@Fentony Amazon clearly bought those 'positive' reviews just like they bought those 'superfans' last season. 63% of viewers abandoning the first season & only 37% finished it is a very damming verdict for rings of power.
That super fans video was very telling on Amazon’s mindset. Imagine having to pay “Tolkien fans” off to talk positively about the show.
