👌precision
you cant make music without precision
Hi Again,
This makes me wonder about a question I already asked. Can you make something in BitWig that allows you to kick/drum/sound before or after another sound? So, basically, auto-syncing 10ms before or after another sound/transient or other audio event, for example?
@@3DaveO the time shift device! Or put it in a sampler inside an instrument layer and adjust the sample start time/attack
There are several ways depending on your workflow I would say. An envelope follower with a delay module can achieve that, as well as a trig condition on the piano roll
Isn’t it so refreshing when a great plugin doesn’t cost an arm and a leg .. 22 bucks - thank you so much..
absolutely!
when I first saw this.. I thought 100% it was going to be $100 ish..
I saw $22 I brought this without question
sure, it doesn't have noise/click layer generators, but I think it's kind of nice when plugins have a really specific purpose, rather than trying to do everything?? it's easy enough to add layers a dozen different ways anyway. I'm definitely trying this, the phase zero crossing is such a good idea.
Your videos are awesome dude, watched all of 'em :)
@@robertwaremusic :) !
+1
I don't use the click layers in Kick 2 anyway. I used to and then I saw Nick Roos make the transient by zooming in on the first few milliseconds of the amp curve and inserting a bunch of peaks and troughs. He seemed to think it sounded better than using the click layer and I'd have to agree with him. This plugin looks great.
I love it, just bought it yesterday and for psy trance kicks or even melodic techno works fantastic, it could be the Kick 2 killer, but I just hope they add the possibility to add clicks or samples to manipulate even more. So far it is a fantastic plugin for a great price and also has lifetime updates 😍
@balrojmusic - Your Bitwig production sessions are INCREDIBLE!
You are 100% a channel to follow, excellent production material and wonderful music. Thanks!
@@AmbientShores thank you bro, i'm glad that you like the sessions. Cheers!
It is so nice to find comments from another RUclipsr you follow into videos from another one 😊
Btw Balroj, your tutorials and music are fantastic 👌🏻
Thank you for shouting this plugin out! I kept switching between using Phase Plant and Kick2 for drum design but this will surely replace both of them. It's so nice not having to realign the phases every time you adjust the transient. Though I will say, I wanted to use it for snare fundamental design as well but I can't get the length down below 43ms which is very unfortunate (unless I'm missing something?)
I think I'm in love with this plugin. It's so easy to carve out the kick to fit your needs.
Just grabbed this and OScope - KickDrum reminds me of BazzISM2 - just a hell of a lot nicer! My bread and butter Kick synth is FX23's PsyLab and his PsyScope Pro is awesome (Windows only). Glad that I have supported this developer.
I'd really love to see the plugin to have more ways to create textured kicks within the plugin - no postprocessing.
Adding transients would help a lot, but i'd also really like to see some sort of sampler or something where you could put your own drum samples and kind of "morph" between the two or apply certain aspects of the sample to the generated Kick, or just layer it on top.
It's already good, but there's really A LOT of potential this plugin has.
What i whish it was is a "one stop shop" for Kicks - go in there, do your thing and then have a 100% finished kick that you can just straight up use in the project, zero post-processing (distortion / saturation, whatever) required.
Wow, I agree this is pretty amazing. I think I will have to get this. Maybe my kick searching through sound libraries will be over for good.
now with latest beta update there is a sampler for layering 😵🥳
bought it before even finishing the video when i saw how cheap it was with the sale, this looks excellent and the freeware oscilloscope looks really nice as well!
Way different beasts...
It's very unfair to say that this here is better than Kick2.
But, yeah...
...it would be GREAT to see complete MIX of these two programs...
im missing the sub control harmonys you can make in kick 2, but this wins in many ways especially being able to do more than 3000ms subs. just wished it had the sub harmony section like kick 2
4:58 you can turn it from indirect to direct using the yellow "auto" button on the top right. auto pretty much means normalized, so highs get reduced if you boost lows above 0db.
oh, you mentioned that button 1 minute later. Nevermind then xP
Hi! This plugin is similar to Psylab.
The realtime spectrum analyzer looks great!
anyway to make midi keyboard work like kick 2 can, changing the key for each keyboard note pressed so you can do 808s etc
This is the innovation. Thanks for the info
Thanks, I wast just looking for some more info on this 👍
If you’re doing a full volume duck against the sub it doesn’t really matter if the phase changes since it’s the only sound playing at that moment though.
The tail of the kick usually blends in with the onset of the sub, so there's usually a wave cycle or two of overlap where the phase correlation does matter.
oh it matters , if you're out front of a monster rig stomping the day away wondering how it sounds so good , or if your track is up against someone else who took the time to address tiny details like that, and you didn't , it will matter then. the average listener might not know how to explain or even understand the nuance of this, but it just sounds better if the phases are aligned. less dissonance = good.
I haven't even looked at new plug-ins for a long while. Maybe I'll check this out.
Wow. I saw aomeone else showcasing this video, but i didn't watch it (out of a knee jerk reaction of "meh") But now having wayched your video...I'm sold.
Awesome. Thx. I need this Tool 😎👍
I went to the website and bought this at the speed of lightning. Kachow. The moment I saw it had phase rotation and a spectrum built in I was sold. Bought their OScope too because why not, I have a dozen scopes, what's one more?
I didnt know test tone had a noise generator 😅
Danke für den Tipp 🎉
Already got this, better to fix the phase backwards
instant buy 🥵
sorry 😅
@@PolarityMusicnahhh I was waiting for a plugin like this :)
Game changer!!
This vs Kick2?
also WHAT?! 14:00 how did you get your hard clip device to activate the clip button when it goes over!!? was it the dc offset trick or something? tut plz
ok cool I got it. I made a little hard clip grid patch with a ">" module. > module goes into a modulator out, which modulates a button module. set a remote control on that button and it flashes when the signal is over the threshold. so cool.
I also used the dc offset trick to show the pre/post levels on remote control knobs. pre/post signals run into modulator outs which modulate dc offset devices set to 0% mix. then I put remote controls on both dc offsets and I can see the levels without opening the grid. added some slope down env followers to reduce the jitter.
I like this a lot!
danke, habs mir sofort gekauft. finds aber sehr schade, dass man mit shift oder strg keine feine bewegungen machen kann. manchmal gehts um mm.
It reminds me of another plugin doing basically the same , name evades me at the moment ... Did you develop this one ?
Would you say this is just as good as kick 2
it has less features, but it does this one thing really well i miss in kick2
Someone using FL Studio? The WAV-Export doesn't work. Anyone else?
Tymbark! What flavour? :)
i Use t=his Kick and it is the best on earth at now
my wallet thanks all involved ... great price for great plugin .... hope it does well .. i will be buying
German engineering ⚙️⚙️⚙️
i wish there would be a plugin that does the same with samples... especially when you want to make it longer etc...
the dream is to just feed it a kickdrum sample and it will try to immitate it as best as it can with AI so you can modify it. some synths does it already but im not sure if there's anything for drum samples.

Bitwig sampler 🤣
Absolute bargain price 👌🏻.
Are you using the HD660s2 headphones ?
HD660S
@@PolarityMusic would you recommend ? I'm currently on the hunt for a new pair and torn between the Sennheisers and Hifiman Sundara
yes, but headphones are a very personal thing for some reason :D
Hahaha, true true. Thank you 👍🏼
@@jacobhutchings4119 sundaras are good, but i recomend sennheiser hd650, they have one of the flatest frequency responses you can get. i tested a lot of them, i did even sell my audeze lcd2 and bought the 650 again, lol. i tell you, you cant make anything wrong with them. also many producer got them in the studio.
cooool
dachte mir schon das dir das taugt 💪
was lustig ist, hab grad nachgeschaut, ich hab das plugin ja sogar schon. einfach vergessen in der Flut. also danke fürs erinnern
GEON KICK free
Yes it’s a good free option but I think it doesn’t allow you to change pitch of any point of your sine wave sweep

"sick and tired of collecting plugins" LOL

No one has ever said, man that’s a great song, but I’m not gonna listen to it because of the kick drum.

ever heard of techno?
@@claudiongleur what’s this techno you speak of?
didn't you germans stole Turkish food (döner)? lol
well you could call it a steal, when germans would sell it here in germany. but all dönerbuden are turkish. or nearly all. we love döner :p
@@rallzam germans sell it outside of germany now, too. so it is in fact cultural appropriation
@@rallzam *without giving credits to turks
@@eren3390 lol, what kind of bs is this? then stop wearing clothing from india, buy german cars and so on. a wise german man said: "turks can on only coffee, döner and belly dance. thats it." so be proud of your culture. and giving credits, what do you want, every month a festival in germany, where everyone walks with a tshirt with a döner on it or what?
most of my friends are turkish and they are ashamed of people like you.
