Snapped mine super quick, motor mount point is kinda weak. Have a build you should try though, get a nanohawk x frame and canopy, 1404 6000kv, hqprop t3x2, run it on 3s. Holy chit it rips
Hey there Heads, So I want to build a couple of these up. I have these exact motors, but also have 1204 and 1304 motors in this KV range, do you think a larger motor would be detrimental? I believe the current babytooth motors are 1302 size. Maybe I will just build two, one heavy and one light... Thanks! appreciate your insight.
Previously it wasn't working at all. After the update is the dvr you see in this video. It works, just very dirty signal. Much cleaner on fatshark with rapidfire.
Do you use the skyzone module? If, maybe try updating it. On the newest firmware you have 3 mix options (mix1, mix2, mix3). Try out this 3, maybe it fixes your issue!
I have the skyzone 04x goggles and the stock module was horrible on mine. I am new to the hobby and these are the only goggles I've owned and I just got use to how crappy the signal was thinking that's just how it is with analog. And then I bought the nano hawk x and it was really cutting out I couldn't even fly it so I finally got the rapid fire module and added it to the goggles night and day difference. Now I'm happy with the goggles after I threw away that stock module maybe it works for some people.
Nice build and awesome flying you got some new moves! That 60 fps is for the DVR right? Does it make a difference when you put it on RUclips is the image quality better?
@@InfinityLoops even if it's mostly for neighborhood and park exploring... As long as it's light freestyle capable I'll be happy. I bounced the idea off Chris and he thinks it should work okay
@@BrandonBeans I used HGLRC 1204 5000kv. Analog is about 70g. I went a bit buts with super pitchy Avan 3" and a 90g 1100mAh 4s. Result? Burned motor. With the naked vista you'll up the weight by 10+g. So should be fine...
How does this compare to the Babytooth (assuming you've flown it)? Also is there somewhere you have your rates posted? I dig the snappy-ness of your rewinds, mine are not that crisp.
Have yet to fly a babytooth, just spec-wise this one is heavier with a larger prop and battery size. As for rates, i fly the default Betaflight rates. 667 on all axis.
Hi. I love your upside down revolving around the tree.
I have the Happymodel Fyujon I put int two switchback pro's. Using them with a TBS fusion + DJI Goggles and I didn't have any problems.
I'm pretty confident it is just an issue with the Skyzone goggles. I have had problems previously with these goggles and other vtx.
Ive been eyeing that frame for a bit, I like it 👍
Have to love the uniqueness of it. It's a solid little thing.
I decided to go rcinpower 1204 8000kv on 2S GF 3016.
Its awesome.
1202.5 hgrlc 8000kv are discontinued
Good to know. RCinPower is solid stuff.

Thank you heads.
I really want to build a toothpick and I'm between this frame and the FPV Cycle Baby Tooth frame.

Very nice frame...I had the same issue with skyzone,! working perfectly with fatshark, though. Did the update fix the problem.

How does the frame compare to the Og. Kabab TP3?

Thanks! The 60fps is for the dvr and it is epic! My older footage is only 30fps on youtube. The new stuff is 60. Looks smoother.
I was thinking of using that frame but 1204 5000kv and a naked vista for 3s but idk how heavy it'll feel
Might have some nice pep but not a lot of float. Only one way to find out!

Get it built! I wanna see
