Wade when l first watched your channel awhile ago, l found it very hard getting past the idea these units once belonged to someone else. They were personal items
But then l started to view things differently.
These are only items that have been abandoned They no longer hold any sentimental feelings or attachment for anyone.
The storage unit DID seek out the owners on NUMEROUS occasions!!
The Family does not want the trouble in emptying any unit!!
Where would they store the stuff? Why pay for a dumpster? It is not worth their trouble. Who wants to give up their weekend when their loved ones have been gone for years and years or were a hoarder? The family had already cleaned out their homes and took care of that already!

Even though you do not recognize some of the records, most of them are "hot", please don't give them away. Collectors in the 60's and 80's know what they are.
I'm really struggling here lol. The astronomical number of mispronunciations of legendary bands and singers, products, and countries is doing me in!
I'm late seeing this but I agree 100% I'm almost embarrassed for them and then I remember im 61, lol and they're all from my youth.not theirs

It doesn't always happen.
He put a lot of money out on this unit. He values every piece because it is all money for him. It came by hard work.
You never know what you will get in his business in resell. This could have been a dud.
He got everything not by luck but by hard work at reselling and using the money for more units from what he earns.i hope they don't get burned out or get any injuries!
In his field he never knows when or if he will strike gold.

I love the records, they brought back such wonderful memories, good times. They really took care of their belongings, including packing them. He had some great stuff, but those records did it for me.

Jeff Beck, awesome guitarist. Played with many artists. Billy Holiday is awesome. John Coltrane is sax but jazz if I remember correctly. There are some decent bands there from 60's-70's. Great unit!
Really nice unit and a nice bike in there but PLEASE don’t write on the tank with your fingers. That is the best way to scratch the paint!!

Made in Austria, not Australia dude. Austria is in Europe, hence the skis. That leather pouch was an old school shoe polishing kit, should sell well.
The wood thing with the cowboy boots is a "boot Jack". Back the heel of the boot into the arched higher end and hold down the other end with the other foot and pull the one foot up to pull your boot off.

Wade you got a great unit, but don't get too big for your breeches. We also remember the shells unit, the empty jars unit & the empty shoes boxes unit. Some times you win and sometime not so much. Watch out when you read aloud: on the skies you said 'made in Australia'. It said 'made in 'Austria'
Hi Wade, I’m definitely interested in the ship picture. My son is in the United States Coast Guard and will be retiring soon , and I think that would be a great beginning to be part of his retirement gifts that I would like to get for him. Need to get a better look at it. It will be 20 hrs next summer!! 😃

Hi Wade: Have enjoyed your videos all afternoon. The last video I watched you and your mom were in a unit with lots and lots of books,'corningware, etc. You came across some pictures in a box that looked like they were on cardboard. Old pictures. Then you picked up a wooden object that that you said was a slide viewer. This is a 3D viewer for those pictures. If you put the double pictures in that machine you will view things that you can't see when looking just at the cardboard pics. Have fun! I'm amazed and would love to have that view finder. Love your channel. Your Mom is lovely and would love to be her friend. I am a little older but have some spunk. Starr

The lamp is a miner's lamp. They can be worth good money in the UK. I should imagine they do in the US too.

The owner of the unit fell into hard times and was unable to pay the fee to keep this unit from going to auction. He tried raising funds at the last minute, but obviously that effort failed.
Glad that somebody else figured it out too. Made me sad when I worked it out, and after that wasn't able to enjoy the rest of the video knowing who the stuff belonged to. Don't think I could buy these units when knowing what had happened to the previous owners of the stuff.
That backpack is a COMPLETE KIT for camping. Please sell it with all it's content. It was probably never used!

The wooden device in the cowboy boot is a boot and shoe remover for at the door. You step on the device and use the v notch to pull the other shoe or boot off and then switch.
Ok you need to check the desk box closer a man in that day, who dressed like that, would probably have a montblanc pen.
