Zverev is lying about "court declared innocence". In German we call it "Discontinuation of the proceedings without judgment", in this case under the condition that Sasha pays 150k to the court in 50k to charity. Likewise this payment does not mean he is guilty but the court definately did not declare innocence!
He pays a fine because the trial he initiated was stopped - this is a formal fine for court expenses etc, and it goes to the state and a charity. Nothing to do with his ex-gf, he does not pay her. They settled it and he has always been remained innocent and it stayed that way.
Innocence can be or is just as difficult to prove as guilt but u don't have to prove innocence thankfully... that's the system. It's very often a he said she said battle where there's no solid evidence either way, so any money involved is for court and legal fees and fines. That's just our stupid legal system for you. I miss the times when reporters introduced themselves by their names and outlets, so we know who they’re representing.
He had a court case for domestic violence today. Of course reporters ask this, it's just unusual.
If it were Roger or Rafa many of them wouldn’t
@@fluffybunni1276 correct, they weren't accused of DV by multiple partners

You just gained a fan...I like your intelligence
This guy would be #1 in world if that partydruggie Olya had not falsely accused him of assault. Horrible that some fleusy can just trash a hard working top athlete & bring him down through jealousy just mental health issues. Luckily Sasha has a tight together family that supported him through this hell. Good Looking talented wealthy young man who are hard working & focused are so vulnerable to these kind of incidents. Olya should be ashamed of herself & her mother too who seemed to be stalking Sasha. Bravo Zverev #2 in the world. Bravo
Dear sasha you can win this just stay calm and persevere
A couple of comments. 1) McEnroe picked "Za-verev" (how he pronounces it lol!) to win the whole thing and he may be right. 2) If Zaverev (ha!) doesn't win this time, he will be crushed bcuz he beat Nadal in first round, he beat De Minaur, he beat Rune and he beat Ruud. Plus, there's no Joker anymore. Your chances will never be more in your favor. It is now or never! 3) However, to be fair, Ruud was sick and didn't play at 100 percent. We shall see.
It started as a custody dispute with the ex-girlfriend. She wanted full custody & he wanted joint custody. She filed allegations of abuse. Zverev rejected the original penalty order & appealed for a closed door trial to protect their daughter. The ex-girlfriend was questioned & the prosecution withdrew the case. She received no money. No ruling either way means his innocence is maintained. He was awarded joint custody & paid off court fees to the state via a settlement since he was the one who asked for the trial. Case closed. Back to the tennis.
Why are they doing this?(reporters)
They should be fined and even suspended for about a 3 months period. This is a Conference after a tennis match AT GRAND SLAM TOURNAMENT. ATP has to protect the players.🎉
You can't be 'proven innocent' - its ether 'guilty' or not 'guilty'.
It's innocent until proven guilty. Since he was not proven guilty, he remains innocent. That's the law.
@@midnight1638 Yep pre-trial. In a trial its 'not-guilty'. Zverev is a scumbag. Just for smashing up the umpire's chair he should have been banned for life.
Bro he is so mean he forgets the people that are his fans

Zverev is the winner no matter what
Wierd to state he doesn’t want more questions in that manner. Lost a bit of respect from my side.
Even Rafa or Nole are more polite when trying to state they don’t wanna talk about something.
Good job then, that he doesn't require your 'respect'.
@@reliableandrew arrogance isn’t needed here. He can just politely shut them down. I guess you don’t have any manners either.

First of all, couldn't care less about your (self-serving) perception of me, stranger.
What you characterise as 'arrogance', I call 'fortitude' on Alex's part, making it clear what he is and isn't going to tolerate.
Perhaps you could develop some of that when you grow up?...instead of throwing around infantile slurs.

Stefanos would be on his toes for hunting a slam if Zverev wins it
#zverev u have enormous #talent & u work so hard but these #reporters have a job to do addressing current events so while it's uncomfortable to discuss unpleasant private matters if u r #innocent than just take it in stride because your reaction is coming across as #bullying >>> #stayfocused 💪
These players always seem to be playing w/ their faces w/ their fingers. Are they just so uncomfortable that they need coping strategies pretty much all the time?
I got Carlos in my heart, and Sasha in my bracket. I win either way. 😂
Zverev Win!
Eurosport Tennis, very funny video
Leave him alone talk about tennis
Zverev is lying about "court declared innocence". In German we call it "Discontinuation of the proceedings without judgment", in this case under the condition that Sasha pays 150k to the court in 50k to charity. Likewise this payment does not mean he is guilty but the court definately did not declare innocence!
Should just stick to asking about tennis
BRAVO SASHA !!!!! GO All the way.
I wish you luck to pick up your first
GRAND SLAM 😂😅😢😂😅
If you’re innocent then why pay ??
He pays a fine because the trial he initiated was stopped - this is a formal fine for court expenses etc, and it goes to the state and a charity. Nothing to do with his ex-gf, he does not pay her.
They settled it and he has always been remained innocent and it stayed that way.
Innocence can be or is just as difficult to prove as guilt but u don't have to prove innocence thankfully... that's the system. It's very often a he said she said battle where there's no solid evidence either way, so any money involved is for court and legal fees and fines. That's just our stupid legal system for you. Personally if he is not found guilty he should not pay a penny but that's my viewpoint. But they are just saying it's not a profession of guilt or innocence to justify the fines and fees.... It's BS.
Great answer sasha! It s your private life! keep them talking about tennis!
I am very shocked about the quality of these questions!! Why are these reporters are so bad prepaered? Why asking so stupid questions? Are the reporters in tennis? Zverev is satisfied about his development in the last 2 y. Nobody wants to answer these annoying questions. This is a bad show as has to change immediately!
Wth is he on trial or doing a tennis interview? i would have walked out...
Thought the press conference was about tennis........Wish he would tell these idiots to mind their own business. He was a gentleman on court in Paris......
I actually think he’s probably guilty but I still want to see him win. I saw him at Cincinnati and I was very impressed by him.
so the court declared him not guilty but you are better in judging he is guilty? LMFAO
@@peterhammer6915 the court did not say he was guilty, nor did they say he was innocent. It was settled, look at the case first and then comment

They dropped the case means you paid the person off and the court did not decide on innocence or guilt so understand why he doesn’t want to hear it but on the other hand you don’t pay 450 grand and 200 grand in fines if you are innocent and even the court says this in their statement.
maybe, but also maybe not

This custody battle had been going on forever since last year. It's been media fodder for a long time with a lot of people automatically assuming he's guilty. In the end, the prosecution withdrew their case, his innocence was maintained, he received joint custody, she didn't get any money, & the settlement pays the court fees for the trial he requested. Done.
Esse tipo de reportes é uma das piores doenças da atualidade
The dropping of the case seems odd to me. Was there any statement/reason given by the other party? Whatever it is, it still doesn't look good.
They settled out of court. That means the claimant probably accepted 💰 for compensation. If this was about justice, then she should've kept going.
They didn’t settle out of court.😡

2:08 Zverev just wants everyone to just shut up despite his guilt. He would not be so reactive if he was not trying to hide his guilt. Having the charges dropped because of settlement was reached out of court is not innocence!
He is uncomfortable, but I wonder how uncomfortable his girlfriend was after being beaten?
Are you Mental ?
He just won a RG Semi Final and the second question is about a court case.
Guilty or not it has nothing to do with that game or the final on Sunday.
Just disrespectful Gossip trying to get a good article.
If you love gossip, I recommend you watch Hello! Or The Mirror , which my mom loves. Why is this your business? His girlfriend settled for €200k and BOTH parties have agreed that there is no guilt. And now you come along and what is your point? Have you been hiding in their closet? Are u some kind of crown witness?
didnt know you was there and know what happened. wonder why nobody asked you...ahh i know, cause you have no glue
So I guess you are best friends with his ex and she told you everything right?
Wow! So, you were involved in the case? Just wondering. Because, you seem to know so much. Johnny Depp was guilty too, right? Believe women, right? Especially if they are dating a man that is filthy rich. He wants them to shut up because it distracts from his tennis. Go get a life or go pick up People Magazine or True Detective. Satisfy your need for gossip or fulfill your longing to be a sleuth.

Dropping a criminal case does not implies innocence. Several possible interpretation but "innocence" is not an absolute conclusion 😑
