- A former school on Staten Island can no longer be used as a migrant shelter. A judge Tuesday ruled St. John Villa Academy, used to shelter hundreds of migrants, must be vacated. New York Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, who represents Staten Island, joined Good Day New York to discuss.

I am an American Citizen and I have lived in South America for 9 years. I have experienced the migration of many illegal Venezuelans here. They were also a huge issue in many South American countries with the crime and vagrancy. Politicians using the excuse that the very problematic behavior of the illegals are restless because they are not working and that is the reason for the crime are lying to American Citizens. The majority of the men and women that crossed the borders were criminals here, and just because they crossed the border into the United States is not going to change their criminal behavior. It would behoove American citizens to learn the culture merely by watching videos about how life is in Venezuela to have a better understanding of what is happening now in the Untied States with the illegal immigrant disaster. All I can say is....wait until it gets cold. It's going to get worse. It doesn't snow in South America.

I was in DOB another day, a man was trying to get help from DOB but he got nothing! His house got fired, his family, wife and kids are homeless now, but DOB gave him series violations after the house caught fire. It will cause him more than 10k fines and another 20k just hire a architect or engineer to fix the house!

It's really unfair. My neighbor shakes with rage when she sees how the migrants just flood in, and are put up in hotel rooms, given food and a spending allowance. Meanwhile, she and her family waited seven years to legally come from Niqaragua to the U.S. Once there they were given a loan to help them get started and they paid back every penny of it. My cousin works in an AC filter packing warehouse and he told me they have employed these Venezuelans and one of them was bragging about how he's working under a fake SSN in order to continue receiving asylum benefits such as PAID RENT, free healthcare and food stamps. Biden never wanted Texas to bus them to so called sanctuary cities. Which makes us question why they're called sanctuary and with that, what exactly was the intended purpose then? In more ways than one lol. I don't believe DNC voters actually knew, understood or even realized that this is what Biden meant, except for his activist/lobbyist base. It's working though because no one believed Texas or Arizona and just went about with their daily lives. Called them racist, bigots and whatever else instead. The flock is there and it's not looking good for anyone. That's why the fight is on Chicago and NY to put this right and send them home. I haven't watched it yet but there's a news feed out that reports Biden is thinking of holding all these bussed illegal immigrants back into Texas. He knows why and me being from up north, I can think of several reasons why too.

Migrants have literally been coming for decades here whether legally or illegally and they have never needed or received free housing or food. They would just get jobs and work hard to be able to pay for lawyers to obtain their citizenship. These new migrants are lazy and just expect handouts.
