Overdrive should always be a user option on any motor, off or on, never forced on.

Pros running 11 speed, but they selling production with 12s lol! Cause the consumer is screaming for more expensive e-bikes
Pressure sensors on the valves... No. Do it properly, having it on your phone, christ. Nice to see Shimano getting a look in on a high end bike like this. The new Bosche stuff isn't as good as the OG bits as they started to cheap out on the components. I do like what ever they use in the Specialized though, they seem to be bullet proof but I'm sure milage varies.
Amazing emtb , looked at this last week, 11k !!! Geo specs as so many other rides these days not to dissimilar to the pole voima , infact the swing arms etc looking not to far from the vioma and especially the oso ibis. Love to see the review on this. It's a great looking ride

What does a top level e mtb doing with a Shimano motor? ☹️
believe it or not, not a single motor manufacturer is flawless, i work for one of the biggest bike retailer in germany and for the past five years, most brands we had send in for maintenance were actually brose and bosch. bosch ofc since most bikes run it and brose had a really bad time during covid. not a lot problems with the ep8, just so you know. also on the lightweight side, TQ and Fazua didnt even work when first shipped they needed an update right of the bat.
@@Hazukro Is that right i am glad you say that i have made many bikes from the frame.Ebikes i am new just got a Trek Rail to but i want a Orbea Rise with a Shimano ep8. I love Shimano the old Shimano the Ten Speed stuff i still run. V=And you can not buy Rotwild bikes in the UK or USA from what people in America have told me. So me being in UK i have to go with Orbea.
The shimano motor is now more powerful than teh Bosch
@@Hazukro Trashing Shimano e motors online has become a huge thing for some.
Many are convinced shimano is useless. Mine works great no problems what so ever.
Online and real life are very different.
Linkglide is the way to go. Xtr is pure foolishness on an ebike.

@@nomad-pq4yw8iy7v fortunately not. A cog that's too small for ebike torque with hardly any chain engagement.
@@markcosens1 You mean unfortunately not! I have two EMTB's both have 10 cogs on them. They've definitely not to small for a EMTB. In fact there more useful on a EMTB than a non E. It's about how you use them.

"a really good relationship with schwalbe" but not good enough to pronounce it properly! 😂 It's a German company, and pronounced "sh-val-buh"
No matter what EMTB you buy? It will be massively outdated in 2 months. Or less.
Resale is not good on these things, and they are expensive.
Im going back to pedal bikes, and bought a new KTM 690R. None of this 1/2 HP stuff.
That Shamara motor completely sucks. First of all there’s no zero Kayden support. Horrible. Secondly, it doesn’t feel natural like the boss of the Yamaha do. It’s also just a throw away and not repairable at all. I don’t know why anybody buys those bikes with Simone motors?
