I strongly encourage you to stop using anything that makes you trip. Maybe you haven't had a bad experience yet, but if you do it enough you will. Maybe you have already been negatively steered by certain principalities while using it and haven't even realized it. I wasted years of my life smoking stinky green shweed, but if I could take anything back, it would be the psychedelic use, even though it was much more limited. I certainly lack the discernment to know what forces got close to me when I did stuff like that, but I know most of it was no good. I think we need to know our limitations, and not be so proud as to think we have everything under control. It's ultimately up to you and I'm not judging, but please consider stopping.
I still vividly remember this from when I was about 7 years old. It was one of the first days of the school year and the teacher told us to sit indian style on the floor to listen to her. The "weird church kid", I still remember his name, Daniel. He was the only one not doing it and when the teacher asked him why he said because his mom told him that's how Buddhists sit to meditate and meditating invites demons into your body. Everyone laughed, but the teacher didnt argue and was just ok with it. That was about 30 years ago. I wonder if he's still based today.
Thinking that sitting a certain way might curse you is so fking based. I bet he's somewhere letting his repressed childhood emotions out on young kids like the rest of the good Christians.
Westerners don't actually know dick about Eastern philosophy, that's the issue. It's just new age shit where some guy 100 years ago threw a bunch of random spiritual elements from different cultures into a pot and watered it down to be palateable to a western audience.
You know he's gonna insist on wearing wool socks in the ring though. Then what if you lose? Laying on your back while he raises his arms in celebration, your peripheral vision darkens, and all you can see is the wool socks
Seriously. It created smoke and wind (like a tempestuous storm, not a light breeze) in my living room. Then black smoke came from a glass of water and tried to go into my 100 year old KJV bible. I grabbed the book before it could reach it. And then a spirit came into me that was so powerful that I couldn't even understand it. Then I started reading from the Bible and all the lines of words were lifting up off the page in liquid gold and there were impossibly thin lines of smoke whipping up between the lines of words into the wind it was insane. The plants in the room (there was a fairly sizable succulent type tree thing) were all bending in the wind. And a voice came into me. An Angelic one I think. I could barely hold that kind of power channeling through me. But yeah.. true story of that time. Having holy energies channel through you in order to intervene in some spiritual battle that you don't forget and you don't discount. I could go into more detail but this was real.

I mean, I don't know why any young person would take advice from a gen-x guy that obviously dislikes his audience and disparages coolness because he didn't get enough GASH in high school. He is pretty funny sometimes though, just wish he'd stop being so judgemental.
It's very cool to see all three of you rapidly approaching Christianity from different angles! It's really weird joining the normiest of religions, but man. The devil just wants you to think it's lame
Lol I dunno man, I haven't got those vibes but it's definitely a cool new perspective I think I might approach watching the podcast with now and then. I feel like it could add a bit of tension, really change the funny show into more of a soap opera situation should the mood strike!
I remember when it felt like a switch was flicked and things started feeling "different" right around a 2/3 month period where I was doing shrooms, DXM, weed, etc. This was coincidentally just a few months before COVID. I used to hangout with a bunch of Midwestern kids when I went to college in Florida, we were all so far from home (and supervising eyes) so we did all kinds of weird shit, like DXM. I had done it before, but I had a REALLY bad trip on DXM one time, where I couldn't process time anymore, felt like I was in hell, and puked for what felt like hours. I also smoked a shitload of weed from those vape carts, I'm talking 12+ hits a night *minimum* from them. I remember at one point I was so high off of one of those that I heard some entity in my head repeating my name over and over and over and over again, sounded like a million voices. I thought it was weird, went to bed, woke up, and was fine. You will have a billion trips on drugs that are bad or just neutral (but not worth it still), but as addicts, we will remember the few good times on these substances, and that's what keeps us going back to them, until you have another bad trip and decide to go cold turkey for years. Sometimes I think about doing shrooms again to see if there's a way I can flick that switch back on...
The Irish and Germanics were some of the most spiritual people. Very ignorant of Sam to say it’s not for white people. It’s a fundamental part of being on Earth.
The more I listen to Sam and Charls it seems they are just dismissive know it alls. I don't think they're much deeper or smarter than your average person. When you're edgy, it can be confused with intelligence.
Germanics are the evil guys of history no matter where you look they always on the wrong side: fall of Rome, papism, even further herecies, their great chimpout in ww1 and ww2, marxism, nazism. Then we can remember that anglos are hyper satanic mix of germ barbarities (jutes, angles, dane settlers, normans who are combination of vikings with franks, who are germanic too), so all the crimes of GAE are on germanics being puppeteered by jews (standart germ state, and then they brag how they killed no jews in ww2, yet whole Europe in ruins and millions are dead)
Don’t do crystal meth either. You see some bad things forming out of thin air that makes you believe demons that can’t be seen in the physical world are moving all around us.
I went down a spiritual path that led to a lot of misery and solitude but I don't regret it because I have a WAY deeper understanding of myself and the world because of it.

Knew a Catholic guy who looked into gnosticism and kaballah and after about 2 weeks he started basically worshipping satan, arguing that lucifer and satan are two different people and that makes it not evil or smth. He found a mentor online who was a dude-bro weed guy who taught him to light candles and do silly-billy things in the woods. I remember one quote from his mentor was, "we used to laugh and burp and fart and play hockey-videogames." Immediately when I heard that i realised that my 20 years of being a Christian have been meaningless and that I should smoke weed and light candles in the woods instead. I think if you're Catholic youre more likely to fall to this kind of stuff, so don't look into it. There are a lot of beliefs held by Catholics which make them susceptible to, "esoteric nothingism."
Very true. I experienced something similar recently. Going down esoteric rabbithole stuff is captivating at first because you think you found out something no one else ever thought about. And you feel like you are part of some special kind of enlightened folks. But it's all a farce really. Things aren't that complicated. There exists good and evil. And you should work towards goodness in your life. This idea that evil is actually le heccin good because it takes the burden of acting good off of your shoulders is a satanic psyop. Satan deliberately makes things appear complicated and complex so that you lose the way of righteousness and become a willing servant to him. In reality nothing is really complicated and the simplest answers are the truth.

But at the same time, it heavily revolves around meditating on scripture, mindfulness of the human condition, and conscious warding of demonic powers, and Theosis.

The problem lies in that term Charles mentioned, "new age." There is nothing wrong with the meditation and the Vedic tradition for instance, as it is authentically practiced, with earnestness and a desire to know Truth. It literally teaches you how to strengthen and fortify the mind, be even-keeled and at peace. Very practical stuff. Tons of overlap with Platonism. Same roots as the Germanic/Norse tradition. Not as foreign or "Eastern" as it is perceived. Now, if you go poking around and try to purposefully awaken kundalini and open chakras without the necessary preparation, and "experimenting" as Sam says, then yeah, you might have a bad time. It might even destroy you.

Every guy I've ever known who got either too into spirituality, psychedelics, or both, always became either trans, a total psycho manipulator, a sex pest, or like schizo delusional. And they always acted like they were the ones with the whole universe figured out lmao.
Psychedelics and occultism are nasty and can break you, I discourage anyone on doing that shit, it did me more bad than good. Jesus Christ through traditional catholicism (orthodoxy) is what we need.
It did more good for me than bad. I would still be an atheist today. Churches are just social play-acting if you personally don't believe in it. Orthodox Christianity looked like pure nonsense to me before, and even though I see the spirit in it now, and am more attracted to it than ever, I also see it for what it is - an aging body that fails to attract people who were not already a part of it either in life or in ancestry. Every church looks that way eventually, more afraid of death and taxes than the Word. The otherworldly aestheticism of Orthodoxy (such as icons and the concept of Kairos) has the same essential goal as "psychedelics" when treated as a means rather than an end. And people get addicted to either when the devil gets ahold of them. Being tempted by the devil is not the sign of false religion - I mean, did you read the Gospel?
If only those institutions were led by folks not carrying out antithetical actions to Christs own words He be ready to whip on so many these days 😂 Them Catholics have spread plenty discord in their day

I think they all said that exact sentence, or some very close slight variation. I told em, if magic was real everyone would be doing it at all tines. It would just be a common place part of life like electricity and flight. But it is odd that 3 people SAID how SAYING stuff controls some kind of cosmic INTENT. Words are magic. Speak reality in to being broham!*
Speech, and especially your internal wording during thinking, does have a significant effect on your life. This idea is true. But, I think your focus on hearing that phrase repeatedly, and then putting importance on this repetition, may be an obsession. Don't let external, nebulous influences dictate what you believe in your stead.
This is 90% correct but you can use psychedelics and meditation with moderation and for explicit goals such as quitting other drugs and other forms of self improvement.

The yt man's spirituality is a relationship with God, God meaning Jesus Christ. We do not do the oogabooga dance around a fire. We are Templars, knights, etc. Soldiers with real dignity and honor. Sounds cringe to some, but it's the truth so idc. We are supposed to lead the rest to God.
I remember reading about Spanish colonizers interacting with Aztec society, and they found that a whole lot of people that took the psychedelics common there where all seeing the same snake entity/demon, and that’s what was demanding all the human sacrifices
9:40 Correct, and likewise the study of Holy theology attracts the grace of God into your soul. The Saints say God is like a dove, he doesn't land and reside in a nest that is dirty, only a clean one. So purging our mind of misconceptions and correcting our view to what is orthodox (holy, seperate from the fallen and distorted and darkened) is important to our transformation and salvation. Wisdom is putting theology to practice, partaking in the liturgical life of the Church which you will notice is broadly distinct from anything you will find in the modern West. All the occult teachings and practices are satanic parodies of this ancient tradition of Orthodoxy, and the 'Orthodox' Satanists call themselves what jesus also called them (synagogue of satan). They got a covenant and mysteries and priesthood and all of it, it's all an antichrist cult based on appealing to peoples virtues to trick them into deceptions which lead to extreme stuff like slavery, m8rder, g8nocide, so on. Demons use dark passions to enchant people, God uses His one true passion which is His own divine energy, His light or glory or grace which in manifestation among creation is mega diverse and mysterious. We identify His grace with Him, it's not created magic energy stuff it's actually His own divine hand authorising His own power into the world. It's not to be confused with His ultimate being though which we cannot know right now, its only an operation or action of God expressing distinct features of His total nature which is beyond and unknowable to any creature even Satan the most powerful. So spiritual and mind control works through indoctrination, we have to indoctrinate ourselves to what is holy to avoid falling into the default alternative which is the traditions of man, the traditions of the pagan civilizations which are all clearly insane and destructive. It's like that because God is loving, He takes offense and wants to avenge them through bringing them to shame and punishment, they love the works of unrighteousness according to Jesus and hated Him without cause. God could judge everyone immediately but instead has mercy, gives time and space, gives the world, so we have a chance to correct, so God in Himself is divided between Himself and man, came and incarnated as God into a man, became a God-man, so we could have a chance - and so there is an onus to seek further and a punishment for those who want to escape from God (which if you notice is the whole theme of our civilization, like Sodom). Those who obey find mercy, those who judge themselves as righteous and are infatuated with lawless things will find wrath when the second fall occurs (post judgment). Real christianity is indeed a mystery to the world. Anyway my explanation of all this is garbage really, go read St John of Damascus, homily on virtues and vices (and sorry but the church fathers also write in long autistic sentences and paragraphs without breaks)👍
I don't think your explanation is garbage I think you interpreting these things (seemingly) literally dilutes the meaning completely. These metaphors are important. But you can't be serious about god if you're gonna diminish the greatness of the story by trying to fit it into reality, and I'm sorry for starting a meta conversation, I know it's annoying and hate it too. But I feel forced to bring this up when people do this; It's like trying to work out the physics for Santa delivering all the presents in one night, it's like, what are you doing? why? now you've made it real, now the magic is gone. Because everyone knows it's not actually real, but HYPER real, and the story being treated as fact is more important than it actually being a fact. You shouldn't be theorizing and lore-crafting about God. I think it's important that you're into it, and you're trying to be good. But we need to tone down the schizobabble when we preach, it's easy to get carried away. This behaviour dilutes the purity of the texts over time, and by being obsessively into it, you're playing into Satan's hand by condemning the future to progressively more incomprehensible stories until the original meaning is completely lost. Who's to say it hasn't happened in some capacity already? It's my belief that we should find God privately, because it won't be through men's texts that you'll find it.
I would like to respond to a lot of what you're saying here but i simply do not have the energy. In spite of that i just want to point out that "paganism" is not a tradition at all. Its a disparaging term of abuse created by Christians to denote any religion which is not Abrahamic and especially not Christian. Thats all you're saying when you say pagan, "not Christian". With that its a bit absurd to proclaim that Christianity has some sort of total spiritual authority over the history of human spirituality when it itself is a byproduct of judiasm. The ideas you first present arent even unique to Christianity nor is Christianity the first religion to convay this idea. Stop with the superstitious nonsense and open your mind to the diversity and history of the human spirit and spiritual aspiration.
@@luxnox9303 Church Fathers say even the heterodox who are very similar to Orthodoxy in their teachings or practices are still pagan, their mysteries are still pagan and confer pollution not grace to the soul. So literally yes, but no it's derogatory, it's drawing a line between the good of this world and true (divine) goodness, the word holy means that which is close to God and seperate from the world / people of the world. All through Scripture you see this theme, "those who are of this world", "the spirit of the world", "those who dwell on earth", these are divisions set by God and applied by the Church. Of course paganism isn't one global tradition, it's largely a tribal or ethnic tradition which takes thousands of forms. But essentially if you want the original word before paganism was used, see "idolators". Eidolon, idol, is a substitute for God. The Lord said many will come in My name saying I am the Christ. So yeah there can be Antichrist pagan idolatrous fake Christianity, it's not evil to say that, in fact it's a glorification of God as are any confessions of the spiritual truth. Nobody is lore crafting sir, become learned in the history and theology of the Church, study the writings and lives of the saints, then you will understand what I am saying is just me relaying to you what the Church (one true Church not some random goofy "church") says.

I like these guys, but I hate it when people bash meditation and yoga. There are so many proven benefits to these practices. People like this are honestly the epitomy of ignorance. I'm sure they also drink cow milk lol
They are beneficial to the people it actually benefits. Much like how "pray it over" is a shitty attempt to get a placebo effect, and doesn't f'ing work for many people.
There's a huge difference between dark arts and spirituality. Christopher Lee was talking about dark arts like satanism. Not Buddhism, meditation, etc. If you look at the history of the catholic church you'll find a lot of occult things behind it. Neoplatonism was adopted by the catholic church. Giordano Bruno was part of a dominican order and was burned at the stake for working with systems of memory which we call mnemonics today. We adopted so much from the greeks, who adopted from the Egyptians and Persians. They all had systems of divination, and rituals (both dark and light) which by their standard is all dark. I don't know why so many people look to Sam for advice, and as a father figure when he himself is plagued by the lack of a father in his life. He has no kids, and is immature because of this. He is a very intelligent guy though, but it's obvious he hasn't overcome that lack of father figure in his life.
Regarding occult knowledge and demons. You are right. There are certain cases to be made for researchers or historians. But it all amounts to warning people to stay away or uprooting hidden organizations.
The point of life is to become gods through God’s grace. Immortality through the cross, and bride of Christ(Church and the confession of the Nicene creed). Just as Peter confesses to “take part in the divine nature”. Mary the mother of God was first to be deified. That’s why she’s called the Theotokos. And to ourself become Theotoki. Venerated but not worshipped, as we are created beings. Not begotten like Christ. When Jesus speaks to the Pharisees “John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?”
Roman Catholics abandoned the creed in 1054 with the creation of the Filioque. Thus breaking the unbroken chain of a 1000 year dogmatic teaching, and tradition.
Ok gnostic. Believe the serpent if you want. John:34 was Jesus directly quoting the old testament, reread that section a little closer and you'll realize that your interpretation of it makes no sense in context. We do partake of devine essence through communion and faith in Jesus, a connection which allows our sins to be counted as his. You will not become a God, you will become God's. You will become a proper man, and thats all you should want.
The knife cuts both ways. Christianity was an unhealthy obsession for me, while for others it's a wholesome chungus happy time. It makes sense while you're inside it, but then you zoom out and ask, "WTF am I doing?". You're left to wonder whether you're really getting in touch with your reason for being, or if you've just succumbed to brainwashing and/or biological programming. I dare say that superstition and religious obsession are demons in their own right, whether demons are real, living things or just thought-loops and other knots in reality. Just like the drugs, 2 years go by and then you realize you've gone nowhere and aren't any better at managing stress. Don't understimate the opiate of the masses.
Yeah, I've seen many people acting veritably possessed. What ideology you call the truth will turn into your god. Don't get lost in the concept of good, and forget to cultivate physical goodness.
That's because what begins as religion becomes a social or political body. True Religion is first-person and phenomenal. You can't 'disprove' a person having a transformative experience and living a better life, you can only quibble about what "better" means from your perspective.
lmao all these people say "opiate of the masses" like they do not realize it means making people suffer more continuously. This is not a good position, anyone who wants to increase the common mans suffering for literally no good reason is a real silly person. I mean did YOU ever think about that statement? Sounds like brainwashing to me,.
"New Age" is just aping certain things from theosophists and people like Steiner, who were all just forming syncretic schools of thought based on concepts and religions that are centuries and millennia old already. People don't know that because they're scared to even research it lol
You need to change the title. You mean "Spiritualism" or "Neopaganism". "Spirituality" includes the entire category of religion, without which we have no civilization at all.
Love Sam and the boys but I don't get the Jesus stuff, I really don't. I agree that new age spirituality is basically just a big larp that leads you knowhere in life.
I see each religion as doing it's effect for a select few, and bullshit to the rest. However, the people who do the religion and get the effect have no concept of it bot working for others.
God lets the curious ones experiment with drugs because their free will has made them stubbornly rebellious, and so He lets them learn their lesson the hard way. The lesson being that God is real, the esoteric spirit world actually exists, demons are real, drugs makes you more susceptible to their influence, and the only way to combat them is through the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. Right now is such an exciting time to witness the collective consciousness of the internet waking up to this fundamental truth! God bless you all my brothers in Christ!
"This is a very special time to be alive; the universe is waking up." God spoke that in my mind on 12/22/2022. I didn't even believe in Him then, or thought maybe He was a "She". I had never read the Bible. And that was only the beginning of the journey. 12 years later, I am more knowledgeable about Scripture than most churchgoers. None of this is a boast, refer to the words of St. Paul if you think this is boasting. My only point is that don't conflate suffering with evil. Nothing can happen that the Father does not allow, and Providence cares nothing for your sense of aesthetics. If Jesus had not faced the wilderness and the temptation of Satan, He could never have served as our example.
Christian’s still have traditional “demons” in their lore In the original Greek meaning they more closely resemble guardian angels The concepts the same only the names have have changed If one’s evil so is the other🤷♂️
I should also mention that legend says the ancient Greek king Menander was a Buddhist convert from Greek Paganism. The reality of "Spirituality" may not be so clean-cut.
Honestly speaking. It's a terrible thing to do. You can go insane from meditation too. but shrooms? Dmt? It's a surefire way to go crazy. It's better to live to mystery at some point.
I've had a friend go crazy from regular shroom trips and microdosing. The more he tried to convince everyone he was “getting in touch with his inner self and self-actualizing” the more unhinged and toxic he became in his behavior. Had to cut him off because he became genuinely insane and agressive.

I realized in my 20's that this was the truth concerning what happened to Christianity since Jesus "left" (however you would like to interpret that last bit is totally up to you). It's lost the narrative a long time ago is the faintest echo of what Jesus ACTUALLY taught because no Christian really understands the Bible.
I agree about the people watching sunsets ad infinitum and revving their "spirituality" in 1st and 2nd gear. However being stuck on the Judeo-Christian plantation, that's going nowhere too. Thing is, most people don't have the attention span or the interest to really study anything esoteric. Some, probably many, couldn't handle it even if they got interested in it.
You’re saying people don’t have attention or interest to study anything, yet your out here using a modern term like “Judeo-Christian” to discount Christian spirituality and theology. If you go look at Church History and traditional Christian philosophy you will realize that the truth is not esoteric but exoteric.

Tinkering and seeking knowledge too much will destroy you. My intro to it was psychedelics in high school. A lot of the guys I knew who were really into it went to jail or prison. I quit when I went to college, but I became obsessed with conspiracies and eventually became Orthodox. I've studied Orthodoxy intensely, but I'm left unsure about it because of too much information. I've gone back to smoking weed twice since I became Orthodox, and this last time almost completely destroyed me. I had the worst experience of my life. What happened was purely because of how weak I became on it, and how it paralized me.

When I I went to rehab we all made timelines of when shit started going wrong, it was after experimenting with psychedelics

And you should work towards goodness in your life. This idea that evil is actually le heccin good because it takes the burden of acting good off of your shoulders is a satanic psyop. Satan deliberately makes things appear complicated and complex so that you lose the way of righteousness and become a willing servant to him.

I don't think your explanation is garbage
I think you interpreting these things (seemingly) literally dilutes the meaning completely.
You have schizophrenia
@@ICONFESSONEBAPTISM You keep saying pagan as if that means something. All "pagan" means is "non Christian".
To me it’s a plants Will to power. And I do believe it can steal it from you. Don’t risk it or become a slave to it.
Be very careful what you bring into your life.
I like these guys, but I hate it when people bash meditation and yoga. There are so many proven benefits to these practices. People like this are honestly the epitomy of ignorance. I'm sure they also drink cow milk lol
They literally confessed it 2:00
They are beneficial to the people it actually benefits.
Damn didn't know Crowley and LaVey were actually Black Eskimos 😮 the more you know
I can walk on water

Proof?
It says right here in this book
The point of life is to become gods through God’s grace. Immortality through the cross, and bride of Christ(Church and the confession of the Nicene creed). Just as Peter confesses to “take part in the divine nature”. Mary the mother of God was first to be deified. That’s why she’s called the Theotokos. And to ourself become Theotoki. Venerated but not worshipped, as we are created beings. Not begotten like Christ.
When Jesus speaks to the Pharisees
“John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?”
Roman Catholics abandoned the creed in 1054 with the creation of the Filioque. Thus breaking the unbroken chain of a 1000 year dogmatic teaching, and tradition.
This is no different from Kaballistic teachings. What you believe in is "christian mystism"
Let's just get through today.
@@JohnDo-w4msimply by being gods children we would share in divinity regardless of actions
@@SuperRetroBoy64 Opiates are the religion of the masses, and like most things Karl Marx wrote it's a statement designed to lie and project that lie
lmao all these people say "opiate of the masses" like they do not realize it means making people suffer more continuously. This is not a good position, anyone who wants to increase the common mans suffering for literally no good reason is a real silly person. I mean did YOU ever think about that statement? Sounds like brainwashing to me,.
When is season 2 coming out?
This isn't New Age. This school of thought has been around before organised religion repressed it. Noob talk in that video
"New Age" is just aping certain things from theosophists and people like Steiner, who were all just forming syncretic schools of thought based on concepts and religions that are centuries and millennia old already. People don't know that because they're scared to even research it lol
these guys are clowns. the whole video they just go "I don't really understand it, so I hate it"
@ryansergas2776 💯

Sam hyde is such a manic pixie dream boy lol
I resemble this comment😂. Thank God I stopped the crap I was "experimenting" with.
"This is a very special time to be alive; the universe is waking up."
God spoke that in my mind on 12/22/2022.
Christian’s still have traditional “demons” in their lore
In the original Greek meaning they more closely resemble guardian angels
The concepts the same only the names have have changed

Honestly speaking. It's a terrible thing to do. You can go insane from meditation too. but shrooms? Dmt? It's a surefire way to go crazy. It's better to live to mystery at some point.
I've had a friend go crazy from regular shroom trips and microdosing. The more he tried to convince everyone he was “getting in touch with his inner self and self-actualizing” the more unhinged and toxic he became in his behavior. Had to cut him off because he became genuinely insane and agressive.

99% of people who take them are completely fine and don't talk about it. It's like plane crashes. We all know how horrific a plane crash is and know about these disasters, but it's very safe to get on a plane ONCE.
Its the same statistically. Psychedelics, done once, is really not that dangerous. The batsht cases we all know are the plane crashes that are so awful that they put people off entirely.

Shakras are cool if you rationalize them as body points and apply them logically. Body and mind (brain). I don't use them, but I understand the goal of them. It's a tool, just don't use screwdrivers to hammer nails.
Fucking precisely. They are pools of energy in the body. Each pool corresponds with different bodily energies we use in our lives. If you learn how to visualize and feel them, you can do some cool fucking shit.
Jesus answered, "The kingdom of God is within you "
I realized in my 20's that this was the truth concerning what happened to Christianity since Jesus "left" (however you would like to interpret that last bit is totally up to you).

Can you give examples of esoteric please?
