Seems kinda pointless to have almost solely bears in a deck with a commander that makes all creatures bears. You can have Radiant Destiny to give bears you control +1/+1 and vigilance, Tolsimir Wolfblood to give selesnya creatures +2/+2 and mono white or green creatures +1/+1, Flowering of the White Tree for an additional +1/+1 or +2/+1 and Ward 1 for legendary creatures, Mirari's Wake for mana ramp alongside +1/+1, Reverence to prevent your opponent's 2/2s from attacking you, and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to make your opponent regret playing
what you said is the route i took building him and so far its a little slow at first but then it token city and once you drop a elesh norn grand cenobite then its gg
I think Ayula, Queen among bears works with the traditional bear tribal theme a lot better. Kudo is gonna debuff a lot of the stronger bears in this deck which is gonna suck, and any opponent that goes wide is gonna be a struggle for this deck. White token generation is really good in this deck, and it helps with the synergy cards a lot, so I'd run them
my first thought was Living Weapon Germs and other 0/0 creatures. of course, Ayula has to be in the deck, but for the most part i don't put bears in the deck. things will be bears anyway when my Commander is on the field.
Love the decklist bro. I think playing nothing but anthems or 1/1 counters is so boring for Kudo, it might be not be great, but having Kudo run the Ayula deck is way more fun
Are you still reading these comments? Have you played this deck? The point of Kudo is to play him in a deck that is fairly low to the ground and makes your Commander's effect asymmetrical. Try to avoid using cards like Great Henge, which is a non-bo with Kudo. Also, avoid Vanquisher's Banner - its function is a non-bo with Kudo being in play. Yes, I know you're playing a lot of bears. As someone else mentioned, this doesn't make sense in a deck which makes everything a bear anyway. This appears to be more of a theme deck. How do you run it? How do you keep Kudo from getting nerfed?
Yes I try to read all the comments but don't have time to respond to them most of the time. I have not played this deck, I would like to but the amount of time I have to play magic doesn't allow me to play every deck I make. I personally built this deck to just be a fun bear deck. It wasn't supposed to be this overpowered deck and sometimes that the way I like todo things. That might not make sense to most people so I don't usually start my videos that way. As for how you run it, just enjoy. Play some bears good and bad and relax. playing magic with friends is a great time to be with those people. We just use the game as the vehicle to hang and relax. If your deck doesn't threaten to overpower the board then you really don't need to worry about kudo getting removed over and over. I know this was not the answer you were looking for and I'm sorry but its the truth so I feel everyone deserve to know the truth. I hope this explains the deck and you have a great day!
@@LostPlaneswalker : I planned to play this deck in lower-power casual games, but want it to have the synergy of many of my other decks. Thought you might have had some experience actually playing it, as I am putting it together in cardboard right now. It depends a bit more on the Commander than my other efforts, so I feel like I should hold off playing Kudo until I have something of a boardstate.
I mean bears are dope but the expensive bears get gutted by the commander. Run "hatebear" instead. All the annoying 2/2 or less creatures, your thalias, ouphe, and the like

The obvious combo is to play elesh Norn with this bear. All your creatures are 4/4 and your opponents can’t have creatures.
