Thank you all so much for sharing this Time Capsule Opening on Zoom. The documents inside I'm sure hold valuable information for the YPM's various departments, the photos and drawings are what truly catch my interest. The background banter was a delight to listen to, making this unveiling so much fun for me to watch. Thank you again 👏👏
It was a boring time capsule and the so called documents can probably be found in any of their archives or libraries on campus. Trust me mo one is clamoring to go to the library to look up old documents that have been around fir a century abmnd no one is clamoring to look at these. A great bore.
The contents say Charles z Klauder was the architect but he wasn’t born until 1872. The history books tell us the building was “founded” in 1866…he wasn’t even born yet.
i didnt think that corrugated cardboard was even invented back then let alone the paper and even the lettering was all too new for being that old. heck, the paper wasnt old or stained like id think it would look. oh well, still neat to see
Thank you so much for documenting the opening of the time capsule. This was very entertaining! Seems like such a fun place to work 🙂

I'm amazed by the condition of the photo and the papers despite the cardboard and the tapes
Wonderful
Many Peabody housing estates in London, very good for the poor in late1800s, interesting to find out more abt him as he died in London.
What would a perfectly time capsule be wrapped in ? In the future ?
A very detailed video of the event. I will say that the presentation was so dry, I got chapped lips!!! Ahh ha ha ha... ;)

Who's the bear?
Who is the young man at the beginning of the video? He is a doppleganger to my son.

Steve1989MREinfo has opened rations older than this time capsule and then eat them
What's the purpose of this fella on the left simper at the camera??
Now we know why the queen was placed in a lead lined coffin!
I really wish they would of put some gold/silver coins/ or paper money in there!
Yeah it was a boring time capsule. All that stuff is worthless. Not even interesting.
Crappiest time capsule I think I've ever seen.
Totally agree. It was a great bore with worthless junk.
Its a museum time capsule, what did you expect?
You didn’t read a thing
That’s the most boring time capsule ever
I just came across this 2 years after it was posted. Whoever the guy is continually talking is annoying. stupid remarks, questions and commentary
If she keeps her mouth shut the opening would be more interesting...
