What is the S2000 CR? (LOTS OF R1000 EXHAUST NOISES)

- This is my brother in law's 2008 Honda S2000 CR (Club Racer) in Apex Blue Pearl. This particular car is also the reason why I fell in love with S2000s as it is the first S2000 I've ever driven. I'm sure a lot of people have questions on what's different between the CR and a normal S2000 and why they go for a significantly higher price. One key fact is that the car is limited to 699 in the world. They were only available to the North American Market. The CR has a different interior compared to standard S2000s as well as being slightly lighter and stiffer. This color is also unique to the CR as well.

My god this S2k CR is gorgeous. Nice video bro!! I personally would get it tuned even with just a full exhaust (just for long term reliability), but it sounds great man!

Comparing to Japan’s Type S, the CR has a different suspension tuning, steering rack components, and a rear brace in the rear (among other things).

quick question about the renegade center console. did you just 3m tape the arm rest or is it cut for the tabs to fit in? i want to do the same. i was thinking the tape route would be less invasive than cutting into the cf

Exhaust pointless without a proper tune. If you wanna keep it stock in the engine bay get the k and n drop in filter. Guaranteed 5hp. Get a Hondata and tune the car and the check engjne light will come off as well. You lost torque for sure and hp at low end and mid range. You will gain that back and more with proper tune. As of right now, it’s all noise with the exhaust.

Clean car but the taillights just ruin all the positive aspects of the car.
Mister Jew it’s a hit or miss. They’re not to my personal taste either but I wouldn’t go as far as saying they ruined the positive aspects. Simple reversible mod as well.
