Had a 50's j45, couldn't get over the gloss or scent, didn't like the headstock. Sold it and purchased a Martin instead, and I never looked back.

Both are nice looking and sounding guitars. But I'm partial to the J45. I'm a dreadnaught man. 🙂

I’d love to hear a comparison between the LG-2 (the 50’s model would work), the L-00, and the Martin CEO-7.

I've played the LG-2 and CEO-7. It seems you could get more low end out of an LG-2. This...from an amateur :-)

Anyone remember the full mahogany j-45 banner model from a couple years ago? Those are cool when you hear one here on RUclips. Never seen one in person though yet they are beautiful. Gibson should make another run of those, or other full mahogany bodies, like a L-00 or j-185. That would be neato
