You get yourself a unicorn with a natural affinity for magic (kinda like Twilight, Sunset, Starlight, etc.) or any other pony with an adequate artefact, you train them and BOOM. Though it would be one heck of a challenge to find someone with all magic gone, I'll admit that

@@kellabdjfoono because the regular unicorns worked together. Unlike the alicorns, they cannot do it alone. Together, however, they are able to do it.
