I’d say trunk spoiler bc a csl trunk loses some functions and isn’t as durable.
Im 20 and I just got a 09 E95 335i as my first car. And I’ve been BINGING ALL THESE VIDEOS to see what to do amd how to do it. And I feel like this Channel is really helping me the best because most of the other videos I see don’t really give me options on what to choose and somtimes they don’t source what they use and it’s annoying
Keep pushing the community and maxing out this car, dont worry about being relatable. If we want to push this platform farther, we cant be relatable to FBO or near stock guys. People need mods and goals to aspire to for these cars.

Maybe that shark fin cover is for like say the E93. I don't know if it's smaller. But it's on the trunk so maybe it is. Too bad that lip won't fit my 328i E93.
There are two sizes for shark fin covers. 180mm and 193mm. Some lci cars have 180 and some have 193. You must measure yours before ordering from anywhere. I've also seen a pre lci e92 and pre lci e90 have the 180mm. BMW was weird and didn't keep it uniform like most f series vehicles who use the same same shark fin.
I hope that helps you on why it did not fit.
I've installed some auto tecknik 193mm and theirs don't fit that great unfortunately.

I got mine from ECS too. Mine fit great but that Florida sun was hard on the finish.

Man, its crazy how good the quality is on the true bmw m performance spoilers, you can see the underside, it has a bare unpolished weave almost like fiberglass-looking.. says made in czech republic, things are legit af.

some of these Carbon Fiber parts have crappy clearcoat. My front splitter clear coat started chipping so I sanded and resprayed myself and its good to go. I would respray that take off rear spoiler for practice.
Funny you mention that. I take it you live in FL too. My carbon rear spoiler clear coat could not handle the sun. My solution was the same as yours.

If the CF trunk was plug & play with all the hardware, i would prefer that, but since he had to modify it so much its a NO for me even if it looks miles batter!
Sooner or later when change it back to sell the car or something, the lights and etc will not fit as before... just my opinion, maybe me a more expensive/quality one will have all of that 🤷♀️
The thing which “scares” me or makes not wanting to put one of those stick on spoilers with double sided tape is the possibility if it going flying, if I decide to go down to Germany and the Autobahn.
So I’m probably just going to stick to the OEM stuff or OEM like stuff (with a TÜF certificate).
I have a trunk spoiler on my z4 and I'm living in Germany. It did mount it with betalink k1 which bmw uses to mount their performance spoilers. It's super strong and I have had multiple high-speed runs (240 kph+) since and no signs of it becoming loose.

ECS spoiler was a decent fit for aftermarket.
what camera do you use? very interested, you constantly zooming in and out, also it pretty smooth and I assume you don't use gimble)))
Correct I don't use a gimbal. Sony A6400 with a 10-18mm lens.
I’ve own a lci e90 (red) and it is so many aftermarket parts for that car.. I sold it before i mod it because of the seat spaces (lol yeah I know) but try finding after market parts for a lci e60 is absolutely nothing other than cheap eBay carbon fiber that don’t fit.. mirror caps with the m3 wing, lips, cf Antenna, etc

Do e93 and e92 trunk lips fit on e90 or is ther a slight difference in the shape of the trunk
I got a 800$ carbon fiber hood for my pro charged 325, the fit isn’t perfect, one of the body lines are slightly thinner in one area but I have a darker color paint so it’s not noticeable and it doesn’t rub so idc, but looking back I would have just kept the stock hood
Will that shark fin fit on the e93, i know the fin on my e93 is smaller than the fin on my e90

I bought real carbon fibre mirrors (not caps actually mirrors with clips) for my f30 for $120 and they look great!

The spoiler looks good but the trunk is a lot more aggressive!
A lot more flawed too in strength and size of mounting points.
Best budget e90 CF spoiler is by Emotors2000 on ebay, roughly $160. I have one on my M3, lots of happy reviews on the forums.
Your trunk spoiler looks small. You should have cop'd the spoiler that cover the whole trunk edge!
Lol I bought the shark fin “cover” off eBay and complained that it didn’t fit and even sent pictures to them showing them that it was way too small to fit on the antenna cover and they apologized and said they would send me a new one but when I got it in the mail it was identical to the first so I just took the entire original cover out and used heavy duty double sided tape in every corner to tape it down. I really didn’t think it would stay on my car for long but figured I can put the original one back on plus I have another of these carbon fiber covers. But it’s actually been on my car for over a year and hasn’t came off my car, even at 170mph and through touch less car washes with high pressure sprayers countless times 😂😂😂

u have to remove the shark fin antenna. I did it and u just need to use some clear silicon for gap.
That's a negative. It was advertised as a cover that goes over the original one.

Carbon fiber is for Honda civics
E92 M3 coupes with no sunroof had carbon fiber roofs from the factory. That said, yeah, as bling it’s a bit dated but still works if kept minimal.
