It's asking for your bios password...not your computer password. It means your bios is locked with password.

Big big big thanks ! I was stuck with this issue and couldn’t find the solution. It worked perfectly. But I still don’t know how come it just happened as I never changed anything in the Bios. How come it switched itself to Network boot ?
This happened due to CMOS battery. You need to replace it. Due to this battery bios settings restore to default settings. May be that's why. Buy it's not a big deal. You can easily change this setting whenever you face such problem.
@@kaushalRocky thanks. Indeed. I noticed that after each reboot it was going back to factory settings and keep trying to boot from LAN + boot sequence completely messed up again. So I searched a bit on internet and someone said exactly what you said : CMOS battery dead. Thankfully I had one last CR2032 battery in a drawer. I changed it, re configured the settings in BIOS and problem solved !

Oh same thing happened to me I was playing and got a bsod then I was scared and I restart pc then I opened bios and changed nothing in it then I go in boot meneger an do nothing and it got fixed but I am still 😱😰🙀

It happens when the settings of BIOS reset to by default so it starts booting from LAN. Boot order devices also reset to default. That's why system unable to find the hard disk where OS is installed.

You just select hard disk drive as your first boot device in BIOS and save this setting and restart the PC..It will work.

It depends on the bios.. Generally it is esc key, f11, f12 or del key... Already told this in the video.

@kaushalRocky I have lenovo ThinkCentre too, what if I want to plug in second SSD into my system. I have one with windows on it, and I want to have second SSD. Does disabling PXE fix the problem as well? My second disc isn't readable by windows.
Yes you can connect second ssd also, make sure it is properly connected. Disabling pxe has nothing to do with second ssd. Always select those drive as first boot device in which windows is installed.

Mera pc 2009 core 2 duo Hai aur muje hamesha Bootable device not detected karke ata Hai. Muje ssd nikale dalna padta Hai. Aise que Hota Hai?
Windows intall kiya h aapne ya migrate kiya hai? Take full Backup of your data first and reinstall windows from boot menu by deleting partition.
@@kaushalRocky mein hamesha fresh install karta hu. Pehle hard drive pe Hota tha tho mein ssd karida. Abhi usme bhi ho raha Hai. 2 ya 3 baar boot Hota Hai phir achanak no Bootable drive found karke ata Hai.
Tab muje sata cable unplug karke phir se plug in karna padta Hai.
Then try changing your sata cable..may be there is some issue. Or try updating your bios.. Disabled all other boot options except ssd.
@@kaushalRocky actually this issue is there past 5 to 6 years. 🖥 Technician said since system is old probably it is behaving like that.
Also I have one question on external hdd. It is not opening and says to format.
I tried Chkdsk recovery but it ran for 16 hours and failed. Not able to format too.
Which windows are you using bro? Format that external hdd in boot menu where you have option yo install windows. It will be done quickly...No, that's not the problem as it is old..

@@HelderMN it's not the issue of motherboard, it's the issue of OS..your system is not booting because it is unable to find the correct location of boot file.

Didnt fix nothing for me it i disable boot to network it shows me another error saying boot device not found, if i enable it, it shows me intel boot agent error fk my life
Select your hard disk as your first boot device in bios mode and save it..try restart...if problem continue after this you need to install Windows to your hard disk

@@PAIN-lz8mk if you had genuine windows then it can be reset. You have to find out the key which can be pressed while booting. It varies depending on which system model you are using... Generally it may be F10, F11,F12 or Del keys
