Yes, all the way around. Citizens are tired of not being given respect due when they ask not to be filmed for someone's RUclips channel. Also, tired of police being abusive to the people they are arresting. I would like to see a couple of the least horrific photos of the injuries he sustained. I am sure he would have been taken to the hospital, and someone would have taken photos. Especially, allowing the news reporters to show a couple of the photos to the people watching the story.

Dam james I didn't know that this happened I have been there back in the day in the 70s I was beaten because I was a long hair hippie and I understand that you think your going to die I found it over the next many years to be a fact of life and I did survive but back then no cameras anywhere and I looked back and remembered that black people delt with this on a daily basis I decided if black people could survive this i would stay strong following their lead and I survived and received a small amount of recognition from my friend and family that I was in the right and police had to much leway 😮😮😮

The Sheriff department will not do their job they say make a complaint to the State DA Office. They have no jurisdiction to arrest the Chief of Police which is a lie.
An Elected County Sheriff is the highest law officer in a county.
It is a Constitution mentioned position.
Reason for being is to stand between an abusive use by government powers, actions outside of Constitutional powers, against citizens..

A Mayor, should be able to articulate everything exactly as his "PR Guy" just did. What use is a Mayor that can't get up and speak directly and articulately to the things that are going on in his administration! If this was an important enough matter he should have had what he was going to say about it worked out BEFORE he brought it up at a public meeting. How did he get elected if he can't speak publicly? It would appear, that he is another flash with no substance politician, and if he does not want to appear to be so, he should get his shit together before he brings things up at public meetings!

This happened to my friend in Woodridge,IL. A Sargent beat him to the point of concussion. The Sargent worked with Lisle Police officer Taylor to corner my friend. Why? Because he did audits on both towns. This man had injuries and ended up losing his license for a year. Don't drive brown in these towns. My friend didn't give up he now audits 7 towns in Dupage county to make sure others don't go through this. He is only 1 man auditing & is trying to make things right in our area.

The Fired Police Chief should be charged period, along with the police officers involved, this is nothing, but Police brutality and justice must prevail. The Chief and the police officers involved in this serious crime should be litigated without Qualified immunity, however all must be imprisoned at a minimum of 5 - 10 years this kind of sentence sends a clear message to other police that break the law the police are meant to be up-holding the law and will go to jail and pay the victim and his family compensation. I am sorry this has happened to you James it's a sad state of affairs when the police abuse their powers and assault people when they are performing a constitutional right.
