28.30. Went over to give Jerry at coffee as it was lashing down and got picture before we he went live, met Jerry 2 years earlier with my son and still have the picture on my sons wall. A real gentleman and thank you for the stickers aswell for the kids.
Wow Jerry I guess I had just never paid any attention to the rain shedding off the Aircraft like that until you pointed it out. That was amazing to see, thank you mate enjoyed.
The reverse levers have two positions...idle and thrust. There is no pre-selection. The pilots selects idle or thrust depending on conditions like aircraft weight, runway length and how close the taxi way to vacate the runway is positioned during the landing roll. A number of operators use reverse thrust to avoid relying so much on the brakes because they heat up considerably. You do not want an aircraft with hot brakes when you want a quick turn around.
Most of the reverse thrust actually comes from the momentum of air coming into the front of the engine and not allowed to be accelerated out the back. Force comes from the change in momentum. Normally it’s out - in, if the out goes sideways due to the blockers, all you have left is -in.
Those first two around the 12:30 and 14:00 marks, just get a good look at all those chemtrails being spread over Londoners 😂😂 thanks for your dedication in the weather.
