I own this bike stock, except I upgraded to an RSL stem, just the stem, not the full handlebar as in this video, as well as Pirelli PZero Race tan wall tires and I have an integrated seat mount for my Varia Radar. Absolutely no complaints minus the lack of front Derailleur trimming with SRAM. I would definitely buy this bike again and I am 100% sold on TREK.
@@JakeMyers23 I adore the Varia. Keep in mind that I mostly ride on open roads in the country and have a tempered amount of cars that pass me on each ride. As such, the Varia is essential and offers a level of awareness and security that I now rely on as standard! I have literally gone to my bike, realized the Varia was low on battery and waited for it to charge, before I head out. This is how essential it has become, and I now hesitate to leave the house without it. Those who ride in the city with a cluster of cars around them all the time may have a different opinion, and I would love to see their take as well.
I ride a 52 with a 120mm stem. I’m 5’7” with a 29 inch inseam. Trek sizing is pretty neutral as far as most brands go. 52 fits me perfectly since I have a shorter inseam- all I had to adjust was stem length (for more aggressive position for races).
@@JakeMyers23 oh wow. I am 5’8 with inseam of 30.8’ and in trek website i am suggested to run 56. I typically ran with 50 frame with slammed and 130mm stem. I guess 54 is a safe bet. Thank you for your reply 🙏
@@daffaabieza1938 if you ran a 50 before I’d try a 52- you can still slam it and throw on a bigger stem! Shops will let you test ride both sizes, but my guess is you’ll be able to get more aggressive/aero on a 50 or a 52
Thanks for this man I’m looking at this bike atm so it was useful to hear your thoughts. 🙏🤝
Heck yeah! It’s been a great bike- let me know if you have any other specific questions, happy to answer them!

Love it!! How do you like the Varia?

Was curious by this bike geometry as i am looking to purchase one. What size are you running and what is your height/inseam?
