Quang this is the kinda stories i like to hear. A lot of people don't see what the kitchen is like after eating all the food. Dishwasher job is not an easy one. You certainly came a long way since having that job. I truly respect this. I believe with the right cleaning supplies; washing dishes is not as challenging. The key is to clean as you go. But sometimes, I don't feel like doing it that way lol 😆 Big blessings to you!

Certain people always go through this. That’s because we are people pleasers and are hungry to learn. I don’t miss restaurant anything but I do miss bakery and bread making. That was my zen job. I’m too old and not strong enough anymore, but people like us have all gone through that garbage. It’s happened to me at every food service job I ever had. And I was literally born into the business. My dad owned different businesses and I was forced to work in them.

Thank you for sharing this Quang! The food industry in a lot of cases is super cutthroat and the hard work done by genuine people like you sometimes does not get recognized! Also the majority of the time food industry personnel do not get paid enough for the work that they do and long hours that they are exposed to. Good on you for standing up for yourself! Cheers! 🙏👏

You know Quang, the hardest workers are always the ones that do it all with an unfair pay.
But in the end, we get tired of it and look for something that is worth our time and money. I'm glad you got the opportunity and will to find what you deserve. It takes balls and mentality to quit a job that you gave it your all and then use the learning experience as your own success
    independently.

Quang I too worked in restaurant kitchens in my high school years and what you’re describing is similar to what I experienced. Some Chef’s are demanding individuals with gigantic egos and difficult to work with. Especially, if you question their loyalty to their profession. I’ve seen some great chefs and I’ve seen some crazy ones too. But what you mentioned about them drinking I only saw after the restaurant shut down and customers are gone. While on the line in the midst of rush hour they were rock stars. But they were some serious drinkers.

watching this just to see how an experienced dishwasher handles dirty dishes. omg... that was a lot of soap. I think he used almost a cup for all those dishes. Squirts like 1 tbsp for one item.
Quan, you got the idea right. Rinse the soapy water onto those dirty cutleries. You should also rinse on top of dirty plates and bowl. I cringed when u stacked that red sauce bowl onto the other steel bowl. The plate with tomatoes should have been rinsed first with the soapy water.
Luckily you don't live in Calgary during the big repair job they had to do and residents were under water usage restrictions.😂 Many places have drought, fires. They need water. Never waste water. It is not unlimitless. Those icebergs are melting at a faster rate due to climate change.
