2. Optical cavity/resonator: it has two mirrors (m1,m2)
M1: 100%reflecting
M2: partially reflecting
(To make 100%reflecting mirror silver coating is done on the mirror m1

Brewster's law = Malus discovered that when an unpolarised falls on the surface of any transparant substance, the reflected and refracted rays are partially plane polarized and the degree of polarisation depends on the angle of incidence.
Brewster discovered a relation between polarising angle and refractive index of the transparant substance w.r.t surrounding medium i.e.,
