Hello, can you please advise this ? The original phone has a metal structure directly behind the volume and on/off buttons, which houses the contacts. My replacement screen already appears to have the contact fixture behind these buttons but without the metal structure. It appears that this is already a functional system as there already seems to be a pc board of some sort there. Do you know if this is correct ? I can't see that the original phone assembly for these buttons can be moved to the new screen assembly. Thank you 😊
I had same issue but I took the back of the phone off myself and checked components unscrewed everything very easy and one wire was disconnected. I connected it back and made sure everything was connected up properly and then put it all back together and my gps works now 😊
