@@forky_chess all good. You’re one rating band above me (I’m 1700) and this was just a bad game. But I’m a fellow Caro Kann player and know these lines decently. I’m hoping to learn a lot watching you play Caro Kann I’d suggest checking out GM Artemiev’s Caro Kann games (lichess database). He plays a6 in many positions to avoid this exact problem that happened in this game
