thought the same yet I think hall was really misjudged by many and I still didn't understand why bc some acted as if spiller was faster than hall and honestly I wasn't surprised when the official numbers and disparaty became clear. I still think bijan won't be in the sub 4.45 territory and the 4.77 he ran in HS scares me (e.g. zach evans ran a 4.5 back then). But I agree you rarely see defensive backs run him down and they're usually pretty fast (same with hall who also wasn't hunted down by many compared to spiller).

Dude is fast enough by far for the next level. But hey that's just me. I've been curious to see his 40 time but given he's the rare RB that could go 1st round, he might not run it. Same here. It seems the best NFL offenses currently are the ones stacking explosive playmakers. Maybe the number of teams playing shell coverages shifts the league back to move-the-chains offenses over the next few years. It just looks like Bijan’s explosives come against lesser competition and bad pursuit angles, and there isn’t much of that in the NFL.

I can't remember a RB who often runs so ho hum nonchalant as he amazingly evades every tackler on the way to the endzone. It's like he knows he doesn't have to go top speed and he'll still blow by them. Like the game is too easy and too slow for him. Don't misunderstand--I'm not saying he isn't trying, isn't high effort. Just that he has so much more talent compared to the rest on the field that he doesn't even have to try that hard.

This kid is special, if you breakdown his style and IQ he reminds me of Adrian Peterson. He has patience and confidence in his speed, waits for the play to come together and uses his blockers better then any RBs in the draft. He has 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears, some of the time he makes it effortless, just like Adrian. Given that comparison, add Bijon to the backfield with Dalvin Cook and that's scary good. Just seen him go to my Vikes in several mock drafts already, though we need defense to save our lives...I wouldn't be mad at this pick would be ecstatic actually.
