For a 195lb back, this kids strong and his vision is outstanding , and I love the variety of ways u can use him. For me, one of the more underrated prospects for the 2023 NFL draft and I look forward to him gaining alittle more steam during practices and the actual game of the SR BOWL.

There are some crazy ones like 1:09 and 5:08, but it felt like even on the shorter and more routine plays he usually somehow managed to squeeze 3-4 extra yards out of thin air after he should’ve been tackled (I think 5:00 is one of the best examples of that in this video). Really fun player to watch and I’ll be following how he does in Tennessee

Spears is Alvin Kamara’s replacement at HB, far less money, No off the field issues, similar skill set, younger, he puts his head down & finishes runs instead of exiting out of bounds like AK the last 2 seasons. Last but not least he’s a Saint in his heart. If Spears works out, AK could be a valuable trade piece.
The way he can catch the ball and then look down the field to see open gaps in the defense is something else. Most of the best rb’s in the league can’t do that
It’s interesting. You see exactly what you have emphasized on runs like @ 5:09. It would be very entertaining to see those kinds of runs in the NFL. He could have that success over a defense that are not expecting a curve ball when he makes smart decisions downfield.

Incredible vision with great initial quickness to fire through the gap. Has all the skills you want as a starting running back. Considering the premium you'd pay for Robinson and Gibbs in the 1st round, who in my opinion aren't game changing talents for a 1st round pick, he'd be a great value in the 3rd, reasonable the 2nd if you really need a RB, and steal after the 4th.
its feb 28th today... the combine is this weekend and im thinking spears will end up being a 4th round pick if his combine is average. a lot of running backs to pick from in this draft
