Such a difficult truth to actually walk in. I don't known in all honesty if I've ever loved Him to the depth of self - forgetfulness that you describe. I need help.
I remember that time. It was before I had kids! It's easy when you don't have children, and you're a man, who is not as physically tied to the rearing of the children as the mother is. The brunt of child rearing is always on the mother and is not nearly as easy for her to get alone by herself with God as it is for the dad.
