Someone shared this with me at the right time in my life. We get to a place where we put others above God. We end up idolising those people and we completely end up forgetting God. Our relationship with God. The amount of time we put in a relationship with people in the world, should be with God and even more. God is our father, God is our brother (Jesus) and God is our companion (Holy Spirit). He is also our friend and the one who loved us first so we must put him first. He is above all things, all relationships. Humans fail us and are weak but God doesn’t fail and he is not weak. He is the greatest thing in our lives. 🙌🙌😍😍

Ahhh I love this! And I have experience this with God! I have had God hold me until I fell asleep, I was coming off drugs! I felt His love holding me, and had visions of being in His arms. He kissed me too! So beautiful and amazing is His love! I later got away from that closeness by distraction. I’m returning to my first love! Completely! I’ve missed being close to my Lord and in His passionate love. Never allow any distractions to pull you down from the Heights of Gods loving kiss!

i loved this message so much. i feel like the only reason i even understand love at all is because of God. I want to know him like this so much more and be known by him. This is the cry of my heart and life. Its him! i want him! this is what the church and the world is missing! This is what we are all missing, more of the creator and father! i need him and i long for him.
This message reminded me of a season I was in a few years ago. A season of unknowable pretence. Where I was in the church but not in His presence. Where the enemy kept me busy with "things of God" yet still managed to get my heart so occupied that I was in His presence but didn't even look at His face.
I'm grateful to the Holy Spirit for convicting me out of that season.
Now His presence, His face, His heart, is more valuable to me then the church building or activities within the Church.
Remain in the vine Eric. You are a precious vessel to God. May He continue to bless you and enlarge your territory.

Hi Eric...thank you for speaking His heart with such purity and such adoration of Him. My spirit longs to hear words that point me to Christ and your messages do that every.single.time! Also as a musician I listen to a lot of diff music and get bored with most songs lol but for months on end I cannot stop listening (and also have it playing all night, as well as in the car) to “Jesus Conference 2014” to the worship at the end of your session. It’s literally on repeat and I never tire of it...it’s like I encounter new dimensions of His Presence every time. Abundant blessings to you! 😊

Jesus has my heart, I love him above all, nothing can keep me from pursuing Him, even discouragement and seeming failure. And yet I still have idols in my life. I keep pursuing in hopes that if I can just experience the love of Christ it will change me and I will be able to let go of sins that are holding me back from being completely His. I heard you say once that experience of God is not for the Holy, but that experiencing God is what makes one Holy. I hold on to this hope. Thanks for this.
