Completely agree with Pastor Blakes -- you need a growth mindset in the darkest seasons of life!! Growth mindset indications mentioned in the video:
*1. Seeing challenges as opportunities* -- the reward only comes after the test! Try to reframe the difficulty of the moment and look at what you can learn from it. Rejection = protection :)
*2. Willingness to learn and improve* -- "Wise people always add to their learning".
*3. The spirit of persistence* -- Keep showing up!! Don't lose heart at the first sign of adversity.
*4. Optimism and positivity* -- There's no limit to possibilities in life as long as you keep your thoughts positive & express gratitude for what is going well.
*5. Embracing change and adapting* -- "The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it." Do you have the will to shift with the season?
I can't give up. People's negativity and telling me I can't just fuels the fire. Tell me I can't, I'll show you, through Christ's strength, I can and I will.

Listened last night before bed and I'm currently at work with my coffee listening again. I really want to absorb and apply this growth mindset on my journey to becoming a physician. God recently took me out of a very toxic work environment and elevated me to neurosurgery. It's been a new challenge but I know that I need to be a good steward of this new position that I've been blessed with. Thank you for your wisdom😊

The growth of the opportunity is Faith Based in trusting God Yahweh with His guidance and commands on how to approach the matters of life. The opportunities are derived from God, whether it's a test or trial or tribulations or from the consequences of sin that should lead to repentance and a turning away from the sin. The opportunities will then become lessons learned and strength and spiritual growth and great blessings and rewards. Every opportunity for a believer will always come with a level up attachment. ❤

Some of these things have been taught to us sadly and the struggle to UNLEARN these bad habits is REAL 💯! My mom is so negative and such a overreactive person, I grew up around it and it became a part of my personality! I understand now as a grown woman but this onlt came as a result of God revealing things to me about myself but not everyone has had that experience! All I am saying is figure out where your way of thinking has come from! Is it friends influences? Family, spouse etc? I think once you figure that out you can really work on improving yourself and put distance between you and those who are negative!
