Could you make a whole video explaining from start to finish the whole process of making your ceramics and tools you use etc. I really want to start trying these out but I’m struggling to understand the whole process and your ceramics inspire me SO MUCH!
I was having a massive panic attack, I’m so glad your video came up on RUclips.. it’s so calming and lovely.. I’m trying to get into ceramics too but I don’t have a kilm so it will be difficult aha.
The way you record and edit your videos you make them so satisfying and it keep audiences watch it till the end. I think I need to do sth like this to my videos too.
Hi, how do you “fire” them? Would these materials also be safe for plants? I’m thinking of putting my succulents in them. I really wanna start making my own pots and this video is so calming and inspirational 💖
I love these.. I was wondering if you can make a small video about how the beginners can do it .. l love to see it but as a hobbiest I don’t want to invest a lot of money in this .. can you please guide how I can make these at home:)
Hi, can you tell me the names of the materials you used? I want to try it by myself for personal use? And I want to know where I can avail it? Thank you
Love this! Do you do everything at home? Do you put. It into a machine( I don’t remember what it’s called) to harden/ dry or do you you just naturally dry them?
O wow we share the same name, my name is Ami, u know I'm really struggling to find ceramic powder. I tried to find it on Amazon too but the ceramic clay is available n not the powder, can u tell us wer do u buy the clay or the powder?
hi, so i know this might be a stupid question but still wanna know everyone's opinion...is it okey or safe to bake a ceramic clay on a toaster oven or oven? btw the size of the clay is just about 4x4inches and 6mm/ .25inches thick...since i don't own any kiln nor know anyone who owns one....
It would have to depend on what heat the oven can get up to and what type of clay you were to use, there are some clays that you can get specifically to use with an oven. Also if you google art studios in your area most of them hire out kilns to the general public. Im definitely not an expert but hope this somewhat helps
Hi Amii! I love your animals, they're so cute. Any tips for beginner ceramists? I'm planning to go to a community centre (in Vancouver actually) to start taking lessons!
Huong Vu Hi there! I ended up registering at the False Creek Community centre :-) It was $160 for 8 sessions for beginner wheel throwing. Once you take one class, you can register for a monthly membership. I just checked and it looks like the classes are full...But keep a watch and they have class openings every few months!
@@Nikki-cz8su Thank you for the info. I'll be on the lookout. Just curious, what does the membership give you? I'd like to learn more sculpting than wheel throwing. Should I still start with wheel throwing first?
Huong Vu From the website, it says that the "Facility include wheels for throwing, slab rollers, extruders, and kilns." So essentially all the important things! I know Douglas Community Centre also has that if that's closer to you. Beginner pottery classes tend to have hand sculpting as the main focus and wheel sculpting as a minor. I'd try to take something like that! Hand sculpting is just as fun and has a lot of great tips (from when I took it in high school and college).

Me to!! It’s like magic. I have zero concept of how this goes.
Yes me too, I want to know how the pot/ceramic form, and what are the materials used? I'm excited ❤️
Me too!
That's her trade secret. I don't think she will share it.
You would needs a potters wheel and a kiln

you can use air dry clay , it doesn't need to be fired :)❤
@@l.w908 does it have the same feel as ceramic pots? air dry clay becomes lightweight when they dry, or am I wrong?
@@kichop hi there I have airdry clay but it still holds weight when dry...the lightweight feeling I find is only in those cheap kids kits so yeh :P
Also the way you call them your clay babies is so cute!! And your cat is cute as well haha :D
Yep
They’re your claybies 🥰🥰
Trying new things even though it’s scary is really encouraging!
Beautiful and so relaxing !!! Thanks for sharing !

Now i know why ceramics are so expensive, makes me appreciate them more
Which colour do you use for ceramic painting ?
Wow. I have a question...🤔 Do you do the burning process?
awww your videos always make me say awwww so cute 😘
Wonderful job..What kind of colours do you use? Acrylic?
Hi super...what is the clay you use?...and what is the color?
Hi.. I am still learning the basics. Why is the clear glaze only used for the insides? What is the difference if we use underglaze too? Thank you!

You use underglaze and a clear glaze on top and fired it?
Just found your channel and yess I immediately subscribed. I love how your videos are relaxing and its interest me to try pottery 🙈🙈🙈
Is it ok to use acrylic paints then glaze it? What kind of paint u used?
After Dean It definitely is. That’s what I do. :)
@@oliviaschuster955 thanks!
@@oliviaschuster955 does it change color after u glazed it? Is it lighter or darker?
After Dean It doesn’t effect it if you use a clear glaze. 😁 I use Krylon crystal clear triple thick glaze.
nice relaxing background music for a change on youtube!

Machine is called a kiln, she used the term "bisque firing" so I think so :)

Did you glaze on raw clay? 🤔 I thought was impossible! If so, why didn't you glaze also the inside, so to fire them only once?
From where can I got this adorable pottery wheel
Hey it's a very nice video,I love this because I make me feel great 😙😙😙😙
Why did she put green stuff inside of the pottery please some one help me I’m so confused 🤷♀️.

could make little drainage holes at the bottom?
Ellie Gsll you can! I use a straw to make my holes. For smaller pots, I just make one hole.

Oh my god.. this is art film or art video???? Very slow.. and didn't understand anything...🙄🙄
Is this a satisfying video? Yes
Does it teach us anything about ceramic pot making? No.
She has detailed process videos on her channel. This video isn't supported to be a tutorial.
