We have a Coleman Fleetwood Taos and love it!! Very well built, minus some osb chipboard construction here and there. I see a lot of similarities to ours in the construction. I.e. the cable system and steel risers around the cables, The same bed glide tracks, similar extruded steel flange and rivets @ 4:59, the bunk end supports are the same design, same galley table design and the same one piece door. The separate storage box on the front is crucial. I imagine it can be removed and a dirt bike mount could be installed!?
I had a 1207 Jayco with the shower and toilet in it. It was the camper to have back in 1996. A lot like this one only not nearly as well built. Was single back then and I wore it out. Now driving a Class A, but miss the days and memories I had with my friends in the old Pop up. Need to see if Somerset makes one with their features and the Jaycos most attractive features.
Shane Bigler I purchased a 2020 E3, and have seen several small items that needed adjustments at the dealer before I took delivery. I’ve since took my trailer out three time and twice in fairly rugged terrain at 10,000 feet in Colorado. Not to mention driving across Utah and Colorado, so far I’m satisfied. I’ve had an issue with the lift motor for the roof but was able to diagnose it myself as a remote problem which I am currently waiting for the dealer to warranty from the manufacturer.
*First, I LOVE the idea and design of 'Pop-ups', especially this one!* *The enormous amount of interior room cannot be matched by any other conventional trailer...even those with 'slide-outs' don't have the same amount of space inside, size-for-size* *Here's why I'll never own one!* *Because all it takes is ONE ass-hole with anything sharp to slice thru one entire side-length of the 'walls' and do thousands of dollars' worth of damage that's impossible to fix without replacement* *Next is the fact that MANY of the 'nicer trailer-Parks' do NOT allow 'Pop-ups' and even many free 'RV parking areas' like Casinos and 'Theme-type' resorts also will NOT ALLOW this type of 'Expandable' trailer* *Boondocking' for real is just too risky with a 'Popper' no matter how good it is because they are so easy to damage or break into...and having one this expensive means you likely have 'expensive goodies' inside that take only seconds to remove for any 'opportunistic thief' to score your stuff!* *I'm not afraid of 'risk-taking'...but this just too much in modern America!*

It kinda is. Aliner just took over the defunct Fleetwood/Coleman intellectual property and factory.
Would really like to buy a Summerset, but can't justify paying as much as A hard sided 26 to 29 ft RV costs
Have you guys seen many issues with these Somersets? Do you do a complete set up as test everything for your customers?
