@@PerrinPottery I loved dark star at first but I’ve had problems with pinholling and bloating even firing at cone 5.5 slow cool. I don’t know if you have the new batch or the old batch, but with the new batch is when It started having issues. They’ve changed the formula. It’s such a beautiful clay. I hope it works out for you.🤞
So far so good with using dark star at 5.5. I did have problems when I refired it, even at a lower temp. So it definitely doesn’t like the extra heat work.
