I've just retired recently and I must say I found this video informative and great to review. These psychological concepts are much more useful for individuals attempting to avoid mistakes than I realized when I was first introduced to them. This is probably why Warren Buffett talks so much about temperament being crucial to his investing success.
Developing a solid financial portfolio is more difficult, therefore I suggest you seek expert assistance. The ideas you receive after that can be tailored to your long-term goals and financial desires.
Personally, I would say have a mentor. Not sure where you will get an experience one, but if your knowledge of the market is limited, it seems like a good bet.

Really? Cos I'm still not a profitable trader even though I am a little knowledgeable about chart patterns, how to identify support and resistance, and how to break a trend. I'm not sure how to apply risk management. Like HOW exactly can people make so much money in trading? I've lost $72k already since i joined a trading channel.

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.
i know absolutely nothing about trading, however i know a lot about doing hard things, and i can say this -- you (probably, 95% chance) DO have enough time, and (given you have the will to improve every day, and find ways to systemize/optimize your life to achieve your goals) its normally a matter of WHEN, not IF. ik this sounds like hippie smoker bogus, but there's a reason that the greats of the world keep saying the same things over and over
you could make 5 million dollars (probably more) doing anything: robberies, trading, stripping, managing fire department supplies, real estate, finding it on the side of the road, flipping cars, managing a couple stores for a big chain restaurant... there is not really a limit. all that matters is that you research, research, research, then pick one, and then stick to that one UNTIL you hit your goal.
probably gonna be hard, u probably wont like it all the time, but its a damn good tradeoff considering the end goal

I came here to get an idea of how to trade utilizing A.I trading bot after hearing a guy on a podcast talk about the importance of A.I trading bot and how he made $660,000 in 6 months from $50,000. This video has helped to clarify a few things for me, but I'm still puzzled, I'm a rookie, and I'm open to suggestions.
Investing in stocks is a good idea, a good trading system would allow you to spend many successful days.
I was on both ends of the spectrum, invested on my own for about 3 years, did my own fundamental and technical analysis before trading. Things got pretty tough after the pandemic and I got in touch with an investment advisor who uses artificial intelligence to predict and trade and also incorporates copy trading so that her clients' portfolios can easily reflect her trades. It's been over 2 years and I've increased a stagnant reserve from $80,000 to $700,000.

When "JILL MARIE CARROLL" is trading, there's no nonsense and no excuses. She wins the trade and you win. Take the loss, I promise she'll take one with you. Having her guide me through a trade was the breakthrough I needed when it came to managing emotions while holding a position. She's a Google-able person, so it shouldn't be hard to find her official website since she is prominent.

The best thing to do with your money is to invest it rightly, because money left for saving always end up used with no returns...it amazes me greatly the way I move from an average lifestyle to earning over 63k per month, utter shock is the word. I know that learning the ins and outs of trading is not for everyone. Personally, I trust Herman Jonas, an astute trade analyst who has helped me with trading stocks and forex profitably. Not only that, I also get to learn from him! I’m glad I took that leap to believe in him.
That's your view. In my experience, there is no such formula, It is nearly impossible to achieve success with trading. It’s all just gambling.
I agree, and for that reason, I prefer to have a trade analyst like Herman make my day-to-day trading decisions. Given that his entire skill set is based on going long and short at the same time as well as employing risk for the asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis he's got, it's nearly impossible to not out-perform. I've been using him as my financial consultant and the rate of accrual on my portfolio has been positive over the years.

I sold a couple of homes in the Tampa area for pretty good cash and I'm thinking to just leave it in stocks while waiting for a house crash to happen and as well avoid inflation, but is this really a good time to buy stocks? I hear it's a madhouse right now and I still hear folks are raking in huge 6figure profits by the weeks and I'd love to know how.
Look at it this way, while some folks are waiting to make minimal profits when stocks recover, some others folks already know where to look and what to do to make hefty gains in these times, so yea, it all boils down to knowledge to risk mltigation.
@@caroamira True, I was in dilemma myself due to this chaotic mrkt, wasn't sure if to sell or just wait a little longer, 75% of my portfolo was tanking and in the red and the economy isn’t looking promising, but I began gaiinng clarity and have more confidence in my invt through an lnvt-advlser, I know most DlY-lnvestor like me would say advlsors aren't essential, but come to think of it, they're better trained and equipped at this and if I have to give just a little amt in fees for me to be able to net $650K in less than 8months like I did this year, I truly don't mind.

You've outlined the strategy exactly as I sensed it. The potential gain comes from the market, and people who open a position have the intuition; all indicators are just noise or foolishness that drives. It can't be calculated. We are already in the big crash , inflation is a catastrophe. This CPI report is a colossal failure. To bring the housing market to a halt,the FED will have to pull all the stops . The unfortunate issues is that the other market are being decimated. If you want to stay green ,you have to rely on a lot of diversification.
Currently up 15% and being carful. Still a better deal than leaving it in a savings or checking account yielding 0-1 percent interest.

watched so many of your videos over the last couple days, you always use forex do you know if it works on indices? Dow, Nas, DAX?
This strategy has one major flaw. It only works in ranging markets because as soon as a market trends hard in one direction, continuing to add shorts or longs to bring your break even closer just increases risk and you blow your account when it continues straight up or down.

Only if a good amount of folks do what you teach, just imagine how many millionaires we already have or will have in the future. Not the sad statistics where at least 50% of people are living paycheck to paycheck, even for high income earners. Great contents as always!

Do u trade stocks too? If I understand your strategy for risk mngt, you would buy a call at support, plus a put to hedge as you say, and sell at resistance, so you could buy an ITM call and ATM or OTM put to offset a relatively larger loss but still profit if the stock goes to your expected resistance zone? Thanks.
That intro is the most honest financial message from a RUclips video I have seen. It should be the gold standard for finance RUclipsrs, sadly most financial RUclipsrs have made their millions from grifting their followers instead of from their investments.

Successful investing/trading is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.

How far away are you placing your hedge orders usually? You have a set amount of pips or are you just eye balling it?
Just on the other side of the zone I'm trading a bounce off of - the actual pip number is irrelevant, the only need for the amount of pips to the hedge is to calculate the lot size

12:35 You say you use your experience to decide whether a zone might bounce price or break, so what exactly is that experience. Experience still comes from seeing a lot of price action and forming some kind of pattern bias therefore its not random as you said in the past and i think its a crucial detail you should explain in your videos
just follow the setups i post in the free telegram for a year and you'll see how i make context based trading decisions. experience certainly helps, i think everyone would agree

Precisely my question too. What’s your definition of “hedging” and how does that look in order entry? I got lost in what you were doing… perhaps I need to re-watch and see if a lightbulb goes on over my head.
Btw, “the trend is your friend” is related to this. Trends do reverse but by definition that’s something that happens less frequently than their continuation of highs and lows. So I give what you presented here some merit. Just need to prove it for myself after understanding completely what you are suggesting.

I peeped those AU & EU trades from earlier today, projections of few hundreds but for some reason I don't let myself stay in the trades too long, made profit yes but if i would've let them run til this time I'd be even more in profit. Any tips for getting out early ?
track what your metrics are after you exit trades, and let the data tell you whether or not your system would be more profitable letting trades run. if so, conquer your inner b*tch to hold the trades longer, it's that simple

I have stay in drawing mode active, however, the tool option in the top right only gives me "Apply Default Drawing Template" which is blank? Can I make a custom one that stays on screen? Thanks. What if we get stuck with 4-5 hedged trades? Then we won't have enough money for another one and we will lose all the trades we opened, which will be significantly larger than the loss we would have had with the first trade. How can a regular small-money trader use hedging while we know what it can do in a ranging market? Cheers.

You are not the "average joe" marketing Vendor. It is interesting to hear your approach. I have tried and failed Forex for five years, but I find myself giving you an opportunity to see it your way. However, for us who have low margin, we cannot trade the manner you show without a margin call.
1:500 leverage and up allows you to do this, I've done this dozens of times with small and large accounts and have posted PNL, trading history, and called the trades live throughout the whole process - you just have to find a broker with high leverage, and only trade assets that have a high average pip movement in order to keep the position sizing low. You cannot do this for scalping because the sizing would be way too big, only swing trading, because the lot sizes would be smaller due to the bigger invalidation zones, thus it won't chew up the margin

Nick, you are quickly turning into one my favorite traders. Been trading for almost 3 years now, recently i just went stupid simple with my rules and the results are night and day. There is something to keeping it stupid simple, but having excellent R/R and Following the rules that you do have to a "T."

I already practising this technique on my real account and it works.. The disadvantage of using this technique just like you shown in your video above is it took quite some time in order to close floating loss with breakeven. But that depends on what TF you are using. Anyway, good video presentation dude..

I think what nick is emphasizing here is the trade managment and not the technical aspect of the trade. Even if you have a good technical setup and no trade management. you will lose big amount. Trading Psychology is the key.

Could you please show an example with a strong upward or downward trend? It is very difficult to survive that without hefty losses. I tried following your approach (trading at SR) but as they keep getting broken (due to strong trend), the early wrong trades cannot be saved.

Smc wasn’t working for me but I kept continuing because I follow a lot smc traders and saw their results... But I was failing failing again and again. What’s wrong with me?! Am I so stupid? But I thought there should be easier way to do it. And when I lost hope just by accident saw your videos and something triggered inside my head. That’s awesome! Hi Nick, which broker that you used? Your broker leverage seems very reasonable even with large account size. Whole the rest seems to lowered to 1:200 once above USD30k or so.

Well done Nick ..Ive watched your stuff for about 4 years now ..I bought your course about 4 years ago ( ive been a trader since 1999 !!) but this video is ALL you need...Money management is sooo important ..Todays trading is sooo different from my days of 1999 where bots etc...were not available so I feel its much harder to see direction today ..thus Just LONG at support and Short at resistance ...and the all important MONEY MANAGEMENT.!!!!
