He's the sort of fight that *sounds* like it'd be cool to talk about, when describing each individual piece. And the vibe is that's all that was going through their heads when making it - doesn't seem like they bothered to test the sum of the parts. Either that, or utter dev spite.

I put my fingers on my temple, sighed then smiled after reading this.
I really needed to see all these deaths to make myself feel better. Still no HM kill😢, but I got the NM skip down. It was so fun to watch you figure out the boss day one! This video was awesome to watch!

Also, I'm not sure if anyone is aware, but the 10k damage done by the ballista can be upped to 11k with a vuln bomb. 😁

Something about watching your videos gets me skilling pets. I got Baba Yaga's House the other night doing floatsams watching your UI video and I just got omen at Greg watching your lich king title video. Two kills later watching the first 10 seconds of this video I got the Morty constitution pet.
I am shocked I managed to do a HM kill within second try, I kind of picked up the mechanics AND who the voice lines were directed pretty much first fight xd

The inconsistencies with him being an undead dragony non-dragon are really disappointing to me - counts for dragon slayer task but slayer helm doesn't work (and I'm assuming undead cluster task doesn't work)? Dragonbane arrows work but dragon slayer codex/perk doesn't?
This is more of that "I shouldn't have to check an additional guide / the wiki in order to understand this" feeling, and right you and Mod Sponge talked about how big of a problem that is with abilities, their tooltips, etc. etc. (and how the Combat Beta is meant to correct this).
I hope that this is not going to set the tone for future content - It really diminishes the meaning of adding proper clarity to what already exists in the game if all of the new content going forward is going to have this issue.
I am excited for the changes to the loot, and some of the mechanics etc. - I am hoping that these inconsistencies will also get ironed out., and that this will be less of a concern going forward.
Great video! I had a lot of fun in hardmode. Dieing and learing is part of the process. Think the mods are being too harshly criticised here - there are a few minor problems but a boss isnt bad just because it's hard (outside of the loot which has already been buffed)
Is it me or is the boss British af, iv never seen so many british insults being thrown at the player from a boss before
First here rock on man, hm took me forever to get a kill
everytime I walk in without a giant killed thinking im gunna do it this time im fighting for my life by the end of it the way the goo stacks up if you move your done for. Thats why i was thinking to vuln bomb the giants and be done with it but hardmodes something i wont do until i get all the unlocks and a seren bow for the dracolich armour. necro vs necro is just wrong. imo. lol. What else is messed up is the revolution bar. if you turn it on it will auto attack even if auto attacks not on it. even if the toggles unchecked. which is important if you dont wanna move. lol
As a fellow short person, i demand Vorkath and his buddy boi are cancelled.
I am around 70 hm kills as of today.. honestly enjoying the boss, and yes it was nightmare to learn .
Few things could have been better though..
1) the pools that spawn on you. atleast there should be a warning or a slight delay for the damage tick to occur cause it has one shot me more times now than the number of kills i have on the boss.
2) i just take a B.O.B now cause all my other familiars keeps dying ..
3) the loot even after the Buff seems bad. And what's with having to do a time sink kill to access the boss on nm as an incentive to hm..if anything the loot from hm is an incentive making me not wanna do hm.
Overall the boss is fun, yes it has its imperfections but it wont a jajex thing if it didnt.

The boss is great, and a fun fight. Wish the drops were a bit better and it took slightly less long but overall I’m happy with it. Cool arena, cool moves, cool mechanics, cool design.
The loot is so bad, I almost don't even want to bother. Not to mention the new invocation is garbage.
I mean now it’s 1.2m a chest on HM so that puts it in a very solid state. They just need to fix codex now.
@@Hirokey123 Hard mode is just scraping by compared to other bosses with similar kill times. Also normal mode is just abysmal as you basically lose money with every kill that isn't a spike

Is the voice actor in the Vorkath fight the same person who did voicing in Oblivion? He really sounds like one of the high elves. 🧝 😂
