The setup was straightforward and I was curious about how to pair my headphones so I found your video. The instruction booklet is very small and for me difficult to see the words even with my glasses. Your video was very helpful and I appreciate you making it.

Can I use this with my Bose Wave II Radio and my iPad? My iPad paired immediately, but TX, RX or Bypass mode doesn't work. Amazon vendor said it should work, but I don't know what I am doing wrong. can you help?
Just wondering if you leave it plugged in as a permanent solution, do you have any static or electric noise in your headphones? I read that in some reviews on amazon and was wondering if you had that issue
Hi Luke, how do I enable HD Codec? I am currently using Opt connection connected to the back of my 4K Sony tv using TX mode, I tried held multifunction button for 7seconds but the HD indicator didn't turn on. Can you elaborate how to get HD working? Thanks
My Samsung UA32ES5600 Smart TV does not have Bluetooth in it but it has a Headphone jack on the rear side. Will I be able to use this Tao Tronics BT Transmitter to get my Bluetooth Headphones connected with the TV?
The optical cable provided would not plug into my Onkyo receiver but a toslink one I had worked. I can't figure out what HD mode is or get any lights in that column to work. The bass on music is higher than my usual stereo settings, which is annoying when switching from this source to the one I typically use. Otherwise sound seems good. Haven't tested the distance yet or transmission mode.
This worked for me for a few months but now the blue pairing light not working on fully charged unit - I’ll have to see where I bought it also pairing with this is hot and miss and headphones vary in their pairing abilities
This will be delivered tomorrow. I've always used Taotronics products for my car. This will help with our sound system. The optical port went out on the TV so this will be an alternative to use our soundbar again. Thank you for this helpful video!

Hi, I wonder if i connect the transmitter to the pc and connect it to my bt headphones would I be able to control the volume in windows ? Or i would have to control it on the transmitter itself ?
Will there be low letency if my second earpiece support low letency and connect to this transmitter? Unfortunately don't see anyone test this out as it is very important. I have tried other brend transmitter will such issue.

Say I have an Amazon Firestick or Roku plugged into my TV and I'm streaming from one of those devices. I appreciate the quick reply, man. I've had problems in the past with other things like this not playing audio from an app/console and after contacting the companies for help, they all told me that I wouldn't get audio because it had to be coming directly from the TV itself and not from a peripheral device plugged into the TV. I use TaoTronics for desk lamps and their headphones (price for performance, TaoTronics ANC headphones are great on a budget. You obviously can't compare them to Sony/Bose/Sennheiser, but they cost triple the price, so makes sense) and they've never let me down before. I figured I would do pretty well with this and a FiiO BTR3 hooked up to my favorite budget headphones, the Koss PortaPro and Koss KSC75. Anyway, thanks again!
Does anybody know if you can connect 2 of these to send audio from a non Bluetooth tv to a non Bluetooth stereo? I have it hooked up the way I thought it should be done but it’s not working
I got mine today and exactly what I needed it, I connect it with the optical cable to the cable box directly and paired to a Bluetooth headset and works perfectly
Automatically turns off in RX mode if nothing is connected to it. To get my speakers to play, I constantly have to pull ON OFF! It's a stupid solution that destroys the whole point of the set-top box. And this is when working from the AC adapter.
Hi Luke, I got my JBL bluetooth headphones to pair with the transmitter, but I'm only getting sound on one side of headphones. I had to set unit on AUX to pair. Do you have any suggestions?
@@GalaxyTechReview Yes, I double checked everything. I did email Tao to see if they had any suggestions, when I hear from them I will let you know. Hopefully if they have a fix, you can pass it on to others with similar issue. Thanks again.
@@maravillajoeian Tao did respond and said to basically unplug everything and start over. When I did I noticed that the line in cable on the TX/AUX was seated with less of a gap this time. After that it paired headphones easily and I had sound in both sides of headphones. The device lights on top of mine are 1-TX blinking 2-Aux from left side. Once the transmitter is on and flashing I just turn on my headphones to pair and it connects. I'm not sure if this will help you, but I hope it does.

I leave mine plugged in all the time and do not have that issue its on my bedroom TV right now.

yes it should as the audio would come from the TV so it would transmit from there, should not matter what you are watching or what apps you use.

No, it can only hook up to 2 devices via bluetooth.

Had this device for 1 year. Battery self discharges after a few days.

Use the 3.5 mm audio cable
depends on your specific TV, but yes 3.5mm audio jack to the TV... or composite cables....
