This is my favorite concert footage. I like the location and the energy. They seem to have had alot of fun. I might be wrong, but the scenery is nice too. They look and sound better every year! Though I know I’d be inviting the wrath of the legions who worship John Lennon, I’ll say it: I actually prefer a-ha’s arrangement over the original: Morten’s vocals and the instrumentation have an ethereal quality more fitting to the lyrics.
I liked how they added the lyric "My dream..." over the "Ah böwakawa poussé" part, which in my opinion, is the only weak spot in this song, regardless of John having dreamed those lyrics. I only wish Lennon had done that as well as his original is otherwise gorgeous.
