Congratulations! The comb is a game changer. Moving during contractions (squats, hip circles, rocking on all fours) and counter pressure from my husband helped me a ton in my water birth also focusing on releasing tension during contractions as well. Remember contractions come in waves and there’s always an end. YOU GOT THIS MOMMA! 🎉
Adult diapers were GAME changer after delivery. As a mom of four, I wished I got them with my first three.

I recommend for baby bag is newborn sleeping bag and swaddle blanket is a must haves and changing must haves for the hospital stay is nappy sacks and nappy cream and nappies and wipes are a hospital must haves and for feeding essentials are muslin and bibs you can’t have enough of these and I under pack theses and wish I had more with me and ready made milk with teats is good just in case you can’t breast feed and if you bottle feeding you will need to have it because the hospital didn’t have a make bottle station
My Expert Midwife “Spritz for bitz” was heaven in a bottle. Literally saved me every time I went to the bathroom, can also spray on pads too (boots sells it). Medela nipple shields also rescued me during breastfeeding when nipple balm wasn’t helping. I also got 3 gel ice packs from Boots that I kept in the freezer for coming home (1 to sit on & 2 for swollen boobs I’d put them in my bralette). Also a mini speaker as my hypnobirthing positive affirmations didn’t play loud enough on my phone. Lastly when I went into labour I made a toasted pb, banana sandwich. There’s nothing like tea & toast after delivery and I even took my favourite tea bags. I’m sure your hospital will do tea and toast for you, but worth mentioning in case you wanted something specific. It’s the best day in the world 💙

I recommend slippers to walk around the hospital rooms and hallway and toiletries mouthwash and hand cream and body cream and shampoo and conditioner and body wash and face wipes are hospital must haves and pillow and blankets to make you more comfortable in the hospital stay and postpartum is tucks pads and cooling ice packs and spitz the bits to help the healing process and safe recovery and bring snack and drinks for you and your partner is a hospital must haves
A fan, like a stroller fan. I was so hot during my labor and it helped a lot

🎉🎉🎉 except maybe one thing to consider if you don't already have one.. A wipe warmer. I find them life changing personally, especially around my period, and I know babies appreciate a warm wipe more than the cold, wet sensation of typical wipes. 💫💫💫

I took sweets to suck just incase I couldn’t eat. I also got a spray bottle of water to spray my face to cool myself down during labour. Also, just to warn you. The first poo you have after birth is a different experience….. 😂

Hi, I have a 3 month old baby, and this I wish I knew...
Leave those baby clothes at home and get some with buttons in the front. It will take you like half an hour to put those on, and you do not want to pull anything over that tiny fragile head. 😅
Teekanne breastfeeding tea is the best flavoured tea to help lactate.
Also, I was advised by the staff not to use a pacifier until the baby learns to feed from the boob properly, so leave those home.
And lastly... a silly thing like a plastic hakka saved me when I had both boobs leaking at the same time. 😂

Even if it's not, who cares if it makes her feel prepared?
Where i live its mandatory to stay in the hospital for 3 nights, i would also take a small suitcase
It’s a small case smaller than any duffel bags I have but we will be staying overnight so best to be prepared with all my own things 🙏🏻
