    Nice one mate - quite something on your own on a jetski at night! Bet your heart was pounding

      Thanks mate. It's definitely a different experience and not for the faint hearted. I wouldn't recommend it to new jetski fishos until they are fully confident fishing off a jetski.

    Hi mate, do u have any starter marks. Thanks

      Hi Mate, I just googled gps fishing marks Gold Coast and you will be able to find a lot of general starter marks. Then, see what's biting on the FB fishing groups and go to the areas they are biting. Sound around until you locate the fish and you should do well.

    Hey johnny do you use any weight for your livies?

    • @kristianfrey5766
      @kristianfrey5766 2 года назад

      Run a 10 ball weight good starting point and always start 5m off the bottom and no closer than 2m off the bottom as it stops unwanted species ! Manipulating the livebait up and down between 5-2m is a must , say every 5min or so !

      I use two different rigs. Rig#1: Patternosta rig where the hooks are 2m away from the sinker. Therefore, my bait is 2m from the bottom. Rig#2: I float line for them. I will do a video on jewfish rigs for you.

    Where do you normally get livies?

    • @JohnCanFishTV
      @JohnCanFishTV  2 года назад +1

      I normally get them at the bait grounds. I also catch livies where I'm fishing... afterall, that's what the big fish are feeding on.
